Game Synopsis:
Moon. is a Japanese adult visual novel developed by Tactics, a brand of the joint company Nexton, with elements of horror, psychology, and metaphysical content. The game was described by the development team as a "Reaching the Heart AVG." The main character, Amasawa Ikumi (one of the few female VN protagonists) joins the Fargo organization in order to learn the truth behind her mother's mysterious death. On her first day she meets Mima Haruka and Nakura Yui, two other girls who came to take back members of their family from the organization. As the three begin to undergo Fargo's outlandish and cruel training--which they pass off as "mental reinforcement"--they slowly begin to piece together the true nature of the organization and the deaths it has caused.
Much of the staff that created the game later became the founding members of the visual novel company Key, so this game is often considered roughly equal to one of Key's works. Moon. was the starting point for Key's origins, and was the first time the principal Key team was formed.

The game crashed just after meeting with Yui and when I tried to save hte game just freeze, anybody else have this kind of problem? if not can somebody help me please to solve this, thanks

im having issues with the opening movies. whenever they finish the last frame shown remains making it impossable to see anything. past that the game appears to run just fine.

i just get a white screen doing that. the only thing i can fix is when i roll over the exit button it fixes itself. but only that button. i got it to start once by clicking all over. but same issue, another movie and then death.

the error message says "The font 'MS明æœ' aka 'MS Mincho' is not found"
so... download it off the net and drop it into the fonts folder?

Does anyone have a problem with the sub versions of the "op.avi" and "start.avi" not showing? I get a black screen, but I hear the music and voices playing.

click through the opening video to get to the main menu, and if you can see it, you're golden. If it's inexplicably black, you have to change your compatibility mode. I can't tell you exactly which mode because that seems to vary from user to user, so just try them all until one works. Once that's out of the way you can use this patch on it.

I'm pretty sure I have that covered, but maybe I'll just re-download it again. It was fine without the sub version. I remember it did this with another 3D game, so I guess it is a codec problem. Is there a particular pack I should get?

I got the same problem.
I tried downloading MS Mincho, but it was already in my font folder.
Applocal didn't help either.
Changed my regional setting to Japanese and it worked. Strange why Applocal didn't work though, that happened a few times with other VN too.

I'm confused. I downloaded it and the patch. I extracted both, then mounted it. I installed it, went to program files and the folder, I replaced everything with the stuff in the patch. I dunno if I'm supposed to replace the Moon exe by changing Moon_Eng to "Moon" and hence replacing the file. I followed what the patch said. I tried changing the File moon to "Moon_eng" then I tried changing Moon.lst to "Moon_eng" but it wont let me. I tried using the actual moon_Patch but it has an error and the Moon_eng says "init.snx_________in mf_Init()" that's probably becuz I didnt do it right. But anyways, if you could figure out a solution please tell me. I would like an answer in words or a screenshot of how it is supposed to look. I will +Rep if anyone can help me.

i can't seem to do the last one according to the walkthrough that's given with the patch:
" Third, and most absurd: on day seven, at night, examine the rear wall of Youko's room (just below yours). You may have examined this spot before and noticed there's a ventilation duct. By examining it at this exact time, you get a CG. You can probably guess what it's of. (this seems to only happen if you made two past choices correctly, though I can't decipher the code well enough to figure out which ones)."
