I don't know spesifically for this game, but here's 3 most common placement:
1. In the same folder as the game itself
2. In my Documents in a folder that has the name of the developer (In this case NOIR) or the name of the game
3. In Users App Data
>Users
->User's Folder
-->A hidden folder called "Appdata"
--->Go to the "Roaming" Folder
----> Find the folder that has the developers name.

I'm getting a Malware alert from the main .exe by Sophos. Someone please tell me it's a false positive. :(

Yes. It's a false positive. I have downloaded the game from here and my AV didn't detect anything.

That happens when you open which file? By the way, do you have admin privileges?

The imoizi.exe. And how do I know if I have privileges?

What OS are you using?

Normally is something like Control panel >> User accounts

Basically, if can you install any kind of programs without getting an error that says that you don't have enough privileges, you should have admin priviliges.

And by the way, put the folder of the game on the exceptions list on your AV.

I'm using Windows 7. And believe me, Sophos is a bitch to work with.

Do I need to change the locale to Japanese before I install it?

Can't you temporarily disable the AV?

Yes, it's highly recommended to change your locale to japanese before playing / installing a japanese game or whatever that it's on japanese.

Having Issues. "?????? syntax error unexpected T_SYMBOL, expecting" something like that. I unrared the files, placed the patch in it and then installed the game. Game doesn't launch. Is there a way to run the patch? Please help, thanks =p.

Is your system in japanese locale?

I didn't think that mattered for 7 =/. I'll try again. Last game I tried changing to japanese local didn't make a difference =/. (The game I'm refering to is Itazura Gokuaku). I'll try and let you know. Thx for the tip ^^.

Let me see if I understand all your steps:

- Changed system to japanese locale
- Mounted the game
- Installed
- Copied the "patch.xp3" to your game folder
- Runned the game and then "?????? syntax error unexpected T_SYMBOL, expecting"

Is this right?

If so try running the game as admin, compatibility mode (if using vista or seven), reinstall the game in other folder. When doing that make sure your AV is disabled. And try to run the game first without the patch. If you're still getting that error try downloading this version (it already has the patch included). If it still doesn't work it should be better to post a print-screen.
