One Piece - Kaizoku Musou (Pirate Warriors)

Did a bit of searching and didn't find anything so I thought I'd make a thread.

One Piece with Dynasty Warriors game play = pure awesomeness. It's being localized too and that's really a plus. I don't know what else to say except I'm really looking forward to this game. I was considering importing it if it doesn't get released in the West but AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW YEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAH it is.

According to the wiki here it's being released in September 21, 2012 for Europe and September 25, 2012 in the US. If that's the case woo I'll be able to enjoy this game in a month or so. But on Namco's site it's still unknown.

Getting back on topic, my friend had wanted to purchase the Japanese version previously. Looking back, I suppose it is good news for him to procrastinate, now that an English version is scheduled for release.

Will try this game out at my friend's place eventually. :D

The game does look very interesting with the Dynasty Warriors mechanics hence the reason it's called "Pirate Warriors." My only question about this game is, will the story take place from the beginning of the series or resume somewhere in the middle?

From what I've read and some videos I saw, it'll be from the beginning until when they reach the New World, the second half of the Grand Line.

I guess that must be far in the story? I stopped when they were trying to help Vivi save the "Alabasta Kingdom."

Also, since this will be in english I suspect the Funimation cast will be involved with this since they're currently dubbing the series.

Yep, right up to when Luffy ***** ** ***** **** ***** *** **** Ace and ***** *** ******* ****** ***** ** Shanks ****** ** ***** and Whitebeard ****** *** Garp **** Gold Roger. Probably until ***** ** ***** *** ***** *** ****** Strawhat Crew *** ****** **** ****** *** ****** *** *** Sabaody Archipelago...... Yep :D

Looking forward to the game but not the dub. Considering the way everybody fights in One Piece, a dynasty warriors type game should fit the series well.

I just hope they put a voice option to either Japanese or English.

I rather it be Funimation's dub than 4Kids dub. Funimation actually puts work into their choices for character roles rather than just slap the first name they see on a role without giving it much thought like most companies.

Ba-dump. Bought the game a few days ago off the PSN and it's pretty cool. Anyone else playing?

I downloaded it and started playing it. I'm on episode 4 right now. The quick time events are fun to do.
