Try this:
-Change name of the folder that has all the game files to something like "osadai" or other characters that are not japanese.
-Move the folder to other location like "C:\" so that your game path becomes "C:\osadai\" and try running the game.
-If you have ATi tray tools running (check if the process is active on the task manager), disable it.
Fixed the problem I was having trying to run it, thank you!

Seems to work now :D thanks! Actually though... :3 now when I try to use the application in the extracted files it gives me an error with a multitude of ??????? between the file location and osana.exe
Are you referring to the game executable as the application? If not which file are you referring to?
Try to place the game files in another folder that doesn't have japanese characters and try to run it again.
I was having this exact problem, but putting it in a different folder worked perfectly, Thanks!

anyone know how far the story goes till you branch off onto your desired girl. I picked the chick from russia i believe the first time i played it, i finished her route but i havent done anyone elses. Just wondering how long others endings are and if its worth playing through.

Just wondering how long others endings are and if its worth playing through.ell's(the spaceship girl) route is definitely worth playing i would say it is as good as irina's or almost as good. I never bothered with the childhood friend and ran's story doesn't have much depth but its not bad either.
