Persona 4: Dancing All Night

Anyway, here's the other spinoff game announced today for the Persona series, co-developed by Team Persona and DINGO (Project Diva and Photokano fame). I think the main site and trailer should be enough to tell you more about this.



But hey, it's a rhythm game, based on Persona, and for the Vita. I'm getting it when I can, as inane as it seems.

I'd buy the fuck out of this. Shoji Meguro has made some amazing music. Dancing Narukami looks so smooth.

It's got the full, original Investigation Team, plus a new idol. Who else is left?

Oh really, it has the investigation team? I didn't know that part. Then I guess add some other characters like Adachi, Nanako, or Dojima.
Alright I will be looking forward to this game.

The Persona series has some fantastic music, true this is an od thing to see, but it should still prove to be worth keeping an eye on and not swept under the rug like it is.

EDIT: Stylish End, if Adachi is revealed as a playable character, I'm 100% sold.

Being a persona fan, this would be a must have for me ;O

Rise with the naughty glare

I heard about this at a convention a few months ago, and I was blown away, especially by the comment that this is supposedly going to be canon within the series.

I may buy a Vita just for this title.

This game is day one for me.

For me based on gameplay it is more likely a game I will avoid. Lover Persona but not a huge fan of rhythm based games.

Since I'm not really into rhythm games, I'll just look forward to someone uploading the soundtrack when it's out. I loved that opening...I like most Persona music in general.

Going by that new video, it's looking pretty tight, but I do have two peeves at the moment.

1. Why are they dancing in the fucking character select screen? Save that shit for the dance floor, yo.

2. It seems like when Fever Mode happens, the dance motions are... exactly the same. Not sure I like seeing repeated animations too often, if it's all going to be like that.

I hope he gets a duet with Dojima.
