Red version for me I loved that game so much.

The original Pokemon Silver was my favorite, it was the only true sequel in the pokemon franchise.

I loved yellow version and I believe soul silver because they had the Pokemon follow behind you. I know thats a stupid reason for most but i feel it gives me a sense that i actually have a Lil buddy that is happy to tag along my journey instead of it being so lonely only walking around by yourself till you get to the next town.

Diamond. Empoleon is the my favorite starter.
