Many thanks for the help. I've search for the applocale program and use it, but it still crashed there again. As for the problem, here's what I get every time.
Though is in spanish, so forgive if I write a bad translation (if needed): The instruction in '0x0040f6d0' makes reference to the memory in '0x8259eca6'. The memory cannot be 'written'.
I read on some replies here the same problem. Apparently it was solved by changing your Unicode default to Japanese (as said I had it changed already). Another reply said it was a problem with the font (no idea what to do in that case). Again thanks for the help. I hope I can get it running again (or probably will risk myself to use my father's computer to see if it works there.)

Can someone help me out with a simple question with this game. I've noticed that when I installed the game onto my system that there's no "uninstall" option in either the Princess Waltz menu nor does is appear in my "Add or Remove Program" list in windows. I've got rid of the iso beforehand so is that needed to uninstall the game or should I just delete the folder. I really need to free up space on my computer soon and some help on this issue would really be appreciated.

Hey does anyone else get a pop-up saying initializing directdraw failed when they try to start up the game? Also when i try to start the game through the star-up menu where i installed it it asks for one of those verification code things. Ive downloaded and played quite a few VNs with little or no trouble but i have never gotten a problem like this problem before so i have no idea how to fix it.

so ugh... i was playing on my laptop and my laptop wont charge anymore so i quickly put princess waltz on my hard drive so i can play on my cpu and it works fine but i lost all my saves is there anyway i could like put a 100% save file on it? because i only have the princess waltz application (exe) file?

I finished this VN. Here's my review :
The story is great, and the graphic art is awesome and flashy, and so does the BGM. The genre is in the same type as Fate/Stay Night. Although there's not much romance story between each heroine (all princess) and the protagonist (Fukamori Arata) and have only 1 ending, the storyline is much more interesting. Also, I like these jokes in the story. There's a unique battle system in some battle scene with monsters or the princess, it seems like a card battle, but it's fun to playing too because it's different from all Final Fantasy / Chrono battle system. And in the '2nd Chapter', each princess you take, gives you bonus stat and card power.
Overall : 9/10

Yes, All anime adapted from a VN is generally Bad. (Shukufuku Campanella is somewhat an exception though)
