Psp memory card 4 Gig

I have problem with my Psp memory card
it's psp 1000 5.50 den 3
whenever I connect with my pc sometimes memory couldn't be read
o yeah I connect from my psp
and almost my game hang in certaint place

This is fault of my psp or my memory card

I'm confused because I'm still newbie in this field

Their a problem with early psp's and lexar cards.. i have a model 3000 and a 2000 which i fucking with out of sheer nerdness.. good rule of thumb is reformat then try again but i only use the lexar for videos and pirate games, and the sony for dump from own games and downloaded games... also try a different card to see if the reader is fucked.

It could just be the memory stick itself. What brand is your memory stick?

Yeah, I'm basically asking what Animefreak asked. Is it a Lexar, Sandisk or Sony brand?

The brand really can make a difference of the quality of the memory stick, as well of it being a fake or not.

Can you read it on the computer via memory card reader? if so then it can be the psp ms slot is wore out or the stick need a reformat... if you can pull out what in the stick and insert stick back in and

If it doesn't work the either it's the card corrupted or leads damage or it time for a new psp.
