PSPgo is waste of money i got a psp 3000 a 16g and 8g mem stick for about the same price dont waste your money

Yeah that pretty much is the nail in the coffin. Kind of ironic that the real value of the PSP is homebrew. I mean come on, it isn't like the PSP has the grandest library in video game history. Heh.

still debating whether i should get it or not...
i've been thinking of getting the 3000 for a while, but if I buy the 3000 + 16gb FD, it will be $10 less than buying a psp go.

i was actually waiting for the psp 3000 pink one to come out, but that's only in europe and i really don't think id really want to import.

office depo has sales on mem sticks almost every weekend i got a 16 gig for like 50

checked office depot. only selling 2gb...
the cheapest i can find online is about 70-80 dollars.

If you're gonna go for the... er... go, Then what about your UMD games? If memory serves me, the go only uses DLed games.

I believe I read that they had a system in place where you could d/l the games you had bought. Not sure if that was true or not.

I heard that idea had been axed for whatever reason. There are really two reasons I'd never get a PSPgo:
1. US$ 250: Even if the price was raised to give GameStop/Crazy more profit, the price tag doesn't exactly say "Buy me, buy me!"
2. It doesn't look ergonomic at all. I can't possibly hold anything thinner than a DSlite, my hands are too big.

At first i was thinking of buying PSPgo...I'll go with psp 3000

lmao i got 3 modded ones hahaha and every new game up to date and roms and pspx woot!

Honestly It's probably all empty promises...
For now I'll probably stick with my PSP 2001... And I FUCKING regret not buying the older model...*sigh* custom firmware is just nowhere near my Psp's future... I'm just not willing to spend 30 bucks and maybe another 20 bucks to make a Pandora battery ( Installing custom firmware is so friggen easy how people brick it is beyond me... I did it to my friends PSP and he couldn't be happier lol).
Making the damn thing is simple, but I don't have the funds and the will lol ( I'm lying I have the money I'm just to lazy...).
For people considering the GO, I would highly suggest you reconsider at least wait till Sony lets you install games from your UMD. No matter I got leds in my PSP (I got a feeling some people are gonna say that its childish etc...) and that makes me happy ;)

My Leds... Their really dim for some reason... maybe the camera?


Edit: I forgot to mention I replaced the red face plate with a glow in the dark one lol. Glow in the dark FTW!

downloads take a while...
i have an ok/pretty good wifi connection, but a 300mb+ game took about 30 minutes

i ended up getting the psp go white, it's actually quite nice. i really do like how small it is... now i'm just waiting for someone to hack it :P

eh waste of time to go get it... ill stick with my PSP 3000 and with my UMD games and cases. (Box art ftw!)

I am originally from Russia. And they don't sell licensed games there most of the time. When i came to Finland and saw a real licensed game *Pretty box instruction manual etc etc* i was shocked. I won't ever trade the ability to buy Licensed UMD's for some DLC crap. Never.

P.S. If you wonder how PSP games looked like in my town in Russia. It looked like a simple DVD with 4~5 games on it. Basically you just copy them from DVD to your PSP and play. They were selling modded PSP's only, after all.

Im probably gonna get one since mines decided to break
