This is the problem I'm having: for whatever reason, my antivirus is detecting a trojan in the Quartett!.exe file extracted from the ISO given in the OP of this thread. Try as I might, there's no way for me to restore it.
Like the guy above, I found an uninfected .exe file on some fileshare website, which runs fine, though it's in japanese (I've got my unicode set up okay, as per the FAQ). I tried to run the english patch given above, but it just says it's been patched already, despite that it runs in japanese.
Has anyone been able to sidestep or fix this kind of issue?

Here you go.
Quartett.exe
What you should do is to turn off your anti-virus before running the patch to DVD.
Put the exe file into the folder (eg. C:\Program Files\Littlewitch\Quartett!)
Then, run the standard edition patch, citing the same folder as above.
Once the patch is done, uncheck the tickbox at the middle (it removes the old exe).
Finally run the English patch and it should be fine.
If there are any more errors you might want to re-install the game first.

I am not too sure whether this post is in the most suitable place but... I downloaded the game and finally got the patch to work, and my computer to stop auto deleting the quartett.exe file. Then only a few minutes into the game I noticed my largest pet peeve... The name of the main character. My name is Philip... My uncle's name is Phillip... I have never seen anyone write our names as Phill (always Phil)even though I have for years had official documents spell my name wrong. Was the original Japanese フイルル? Why would the translators add the extra l??? Is this a European thing?

and i had a Phillip, Phillipp and Philipp in my class... was pretty weird

I'm liking this vn so far! -- w/ the voice patch. some parts are out of sync but everything is just about ok. And Charlotte sure is cute :)

I loved the style of the game! It doesn't play like your typical visual novel, it has more of a manga-feel to it. The music is also amazing, I wish I had the soundtrack.
