I don't have a 360 yet I still desire this Limited Edition set. Is that so wrong?
Aksys is really breaking out the big guns to sell to our kind of crowd as well, and it's working. I point to the trailers offered up by them. They really show how to make 100% use out of this set.
Yep, the day has come when these games are allowed on the mainstream boat to America. Makes you tear up a bit doesn't it? Although it went to Europe first, so if it has a funny accent don't make fun of it.
The game revolves around you, hero #1, eventually coming to near death and offering your soul and your children's souls for every generation to come to play a role in some sort of fate so you can stay alive and continue protecting someone. The game spans multiple generations of families thanks to this, any of which can be differed by who you marry and being light, neutral, or dark in nature depending on what actions you take.
If this wasn't all ready enough to get at least 9/10 of the Fakku populace reaching for their wallets I will quote upon an interview had with Aksys about their "Soul Breeding" system.

While the SRPG part of the game looks to be nothing spesh, we must be honest with ourselves like Aksys teaches us to be. None of us would be playing this for the battles.
It is out on the PS3 as well for downloading, 10 gigs, but you will get no awesome goodies.

I'm picking up my copy tody. I could have ordered it on Amazon, but then there wouldn't have been the awkward human interaction when the clerk hands me my 2-D porn complete with breast pad. I'm not giving that experience up for anything.

The phone call I had to Gamestop to see if they had any was certainly fun. There is no doubt the in person pickup will be better.

either way, picked up my preorder from gamestop yesterday. Haven't opened it yet though, too busy playing SSFIV :(

Gah, my plan has come to a standstill. I was going to buy up the set and take the game disc out to trade in, thinking I would at least get around $30 in return. Sadly though I can only get $20 in store credit ($28 with the 30% trade in bonus + my edge card's 10%), otherwise it is $16 cash. Damn you Gamestop, I shake my fist at you and your ridiculous trade in values.
Looks like it is ebay for me whenever I get the cash again.

Ah, I don't think you quite get what I am saying. I don't have enough spending cash right now. I have $130, one hundred of which is earmarked for a vet bill. I figured I could buy the game new, remove just the game disc and then trade it back in directly after buying it; It would be like getting everything but the game itself for $30. It would have worked too if it hadn't been for that meddling cash versus store credit value.
Now what I am saying I'll have to resort to is buying it for $80 at some later point on ebay should I want the pillow case, oppai mouse pad, OST, and pretty box along with my game.

By the way, does anyone know if this has both Japanese & English voices or if it is just one or the other? I have heard that it is with Japanese voices only and that is why Sony refuses to release it on a disc, which is just fine by me.

Actually Record of Agarest War is all ready in Europe, it has been for a while now. Aksys used a good deal of the Euro localization as a base and worked from there. A company named Ghostlight localized for Europe.

Still better than naught. If you really wanted to own the extras you could always buy The Really Naughty Limited Edition on ebay and then sell the game itself right back over ebay.
