Take the Mega Man games, change the setting to that of magic/fantasy, and include an original cast of characters primarily comprised of females and you get this baby! Plot Synopsis Thousands of years ago, humans possessed the ability to wield the power of magic, know as "Magi." Since then, however, they had mostly lost that power and only a gifted few were born with the power. Those with the power to use Magi, however, were doomed to a life of being feared, hated, and persecuted by the Holy Empire and Orthodox Church. One day, the Magi banded together to stand up against their oppressors and a great battle was waged, which ultimately resulted with the Magi users being accepted as part of the Holy Empire's fighting force, known as erka:es. The persecution of Magi users seemed like a thing of the past, but, to erka:es, it was not forgotten. A few decades later, a Magi user named Spiritia Rosenberg, returns home to find that all of her friends are waging a "holy war" of sorts, believing that it is their right to use their power to claim dominance and end their persecution once and for all. Edit: May I ask what version this is? Since the patches only work for the 1.05c version of the game.

I think it might be the C73 version, but don't quote me on it.

this game's power to frustrate you are incredible. it sucks when you get to the boss with all your lives and still don't manage to beat him,getting game over and have to start the stage all over again.
put that aside,this game is really cool,would be perfect if you could kick the walls, like the PSX's rockmans series.

Oh yeah this game is pretty awesome, I mean Mega Man + Moeish Goth Girls = Absolute WIN XD

I hope RKS Freudenstachel will be released on the next Comiket and won't be delayed again like in the last one.
