But to answer your question more specifically, the bad endings pretty much equate to you failing to help the girl you are looking after (for that chapter, so you are more or less right). The good end isn't until the end, the very end.
ok thats what i was kinda hoping for, since i did rehabilitate her i figured it wasnt a bad ending, maybe just a set up to a nice re union later.
It also kind of threw me off how they had what i believed were credits after the chapter but then i was able to go to the next one.
