Okay, I've run into a problem;I finished downloading the game, and took out the folder from the first .rar - part01.
First problem; There's only disk1 in the folder, than another folder with nothing in it. The NoCD patch.
Now me being me, I thought nothing of it. Another problem I found is the the disk1 is a .mdf file. The Daemon tools I have doesn't support it for some reason (older version; possibly why?).
So I try something gutsy with that. I changed it to .iso. Worked fine, but than when installing, it asked for disk two. That's the main problem; I don't have it. I see it in the last folder, but when I try to extract it, I get an error.
I'm using WinAce to extract the files.
So, basically, my questions are;
What am I doing wrong here?
Do I need a different extractor?
Do I need to upgrade Daemon Tools?
I hate to bug, and I'm not 100% is asking for this kinda help is aloud here, but I REALLY wanted to play this game, and I'm really stuck here, and I'd like to get an idea of what the problem may be, so I can fix it.
Hmm, yes, i would guess a new(er) Daemon tools is required, and you might want to (god forbid) re-DL the whole thing, seeing as how you got an error message.
Honestly, I like using WinRAR better, but WinAce should work just as well.

gosh just the other day, my friends(who currently in Japan) was mentioning how he sssoo wants to play this game, and i told him i got it etc, and since his internet connection suxs he wants me to make a copy and send it to him....

Ummm... this is a very linear game. Choose a side and go through that game till the end. The decisions are just to pick who you want scenes with but do not effect the plot so pick who you want. Battles are rock, paper scissors. Calvary wins vs archer. Archers vs spear. Spear vs calvary

Certain formations will work better against other formations.
Here's battle one:
Use Kanu and the red-haired swordswoman with the armor.
Diamond formation; Spearman.
Keep hitting that, and you'll win eventually.
Battle two:
/ formation; Archer
Use Kanu and the blond loli.
Keep hitting Archers, and use the first skill in the skill list when needed (it'll heal your units).
I'll stop there. By than, you should have the hang of it, unless you guys want me to go through, and do a guide for it.

Just do like I did and just use AGTH and ATLAS. The translation is rather bad but understandable. You'll get the gist of the story and that is all that you really need

AGTH and ATLAS is fine, but the game just gives me the funny little random signs that have no meaning. Usually id right click and do the "locale japanese" to get around this, but when i do only AGTH opens and not Koihime D:

First just open Koihime with App Local. Don't open it with agth or anything else. Then open a shortcut of agth with this in the target:
"C:\...\agth.exe" /C /HS4@4F7730 /pnshin_koihime.exe
"C:\...\agth.exe" /C /HS4@4F7730 /pnshin_koihime.exe

Hi,
I'd just install the game and agth and configured the files according to what the guide in agth says. But it seems there's the error appear in a text box "Error: can't load library K:\Games\agth\agth.dll"
Anyone can help??

Tried the same download link.

remains the same. Do I have to get Atlas downloaded together with agth to work? Thx
Also tried Oh Text Hooker with the jetrans_041223 latest plugin (which is said) it can't be used T_T (Total demoralizing T_T)

Still having the error window.

Kept trying to download agth, no much off difference.
Also followed some of the command change.
Is there some wrong with the game?
