This is a SRPG for the NDS. I haven't gotten far, but the basic storyline is that you and two other friends are given a "Communication Player". Which is basically a NDS with email and all that jazz. Shortly after getting the device you figure out that this thing can summon demons that you defeat. You get these emails from "Observer" about future events that will happen and decide to try and prevent them from happening while trying to stay alive.
It seems like there's a built in dating sim as well...You can talk to certain people at different places to waste time on the clock and pick responses when asked a question. I'm guessing this has something to do with the multiple endings.
So, anyone else playing this yet?

i just got mine today! and i am playing it right now, i've got the first demon, seems like i'll be playing this all night!

I played the Japanese version for a bit when it came out. I'll definitely play it more now it's out in English. It's meant to be good, with one of the main flaws being that the character development is weak - despite a fuckton of text popping up every few minutes. The over all story is preset but you can greatly influence events along the way - like being on a train on a predetermined route but with freedom to move between the carriages and do different things in each of them.

I played it last night for a bit. I got to the Wendigo fight (the first time you actually have to fight him yourself) and got my ass kicked twice. That son of a bitch was killing most of my demons on one or two hits. It seems like this is a GRINDAN game, unlike most SRPGs (with Nippon Ichi's games being an exception; they're nothing but grinding).
What level were people at for this fight? IIRC, my three human characters are about level 8, they have two demons each and while a couple of the demons are level 8, most of them are between 4-6. I have actually grinded (ground?) on about 4 random battle so far, too.

As much as i like SMT games,this one i havent come to like no matter how long i played.Its just.....SMT and SRPG style doesnt add up in my opinion.

I just got this game not too long ago, it's a really good game. No real issues with the game overall, wish their was more though in terms of music scores since hearing over the same music when grinding in that game gets old.
