Spiral Knights gameplay has been likened to The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures[2]. Players play as a Spiral Knight, equipped with guns, bombs, armor and swords of different star ratings, on a foreign planet fighting to survive [3]. The central hub of the world is called Haven where players can socialise freely. From Haven players enter Clockworks, which are similar to dungeons in most MMORPG's, and fight through a number of circulated levels. The clockworks are arranged in tiers from 1 to 3 and require a complete set of armor of a certain star rating to access them[3]. Almost everything in the game requires energy. Player's mist energy tank has a maximum of 100 energy which regenerates at 1 energy every 15 minutes. Alternatively players can purchase crystal energy in exchange for real money.
Bumping this guy back up, i've been seeing alot of Fakkuza mucking about on it so i decided to pick it up also. Pretty good sh*t right here for a Free to play game, how're they making their money?

Two words: cash shop.
Which I wont be spending a dime on. I spent so much on maple
Yeah I started to play it seeing how nice and simple it was... at first anyway. Afterwards things just started to get too complicated. If not complicated then required a little more thinking than usual outside killing shit.
It's another one of those games where you're the better man if you have the better shit and I'm getting a wee bit tired of those.

Totes forgot about that, pretty bad considering i played DFO.
Started playing this on steam the other day, tis a great little mmo in my opinion. Also, compred to nexon this game is for the most part devoid of paid content. The only thing I see tha tyou need to pay for is unnecessary 2 trinket slots and energy that refills over the course of the day anyways.
Couldn't play for long. It just got so boring after a while. I kind of gave up on it, besides I only dled it in the first place cuz of free to play week and for the spiral sallet for TF2.
