I got the id complete pack. I was looking at RAGE, but due to Australian prices, it was $60 on sale. It's included in the id pack though which was... $44. Y'see, that's what we call A FUCKING NO-BRAINER. So I've been playing DOOM for the first time ever, I'm actually loving it to bits. Graphics give me a headache, but level design is brilliant. That, along with RAGE and Quake 4, probably my favourite bits of that pack.
I picked up a Renegade Ops 4-pack, but Steam ate one of the extra copies (so I only had 2 extra copies). I was kind of mad. Until today, where I found FOUR MORE COPIES SITTING IN MY INVENTORY. For... as far as I can tell... no reason whatsoever. Might have been a glitch. Someone at Valve might have seen my angry post on Twitter, or they might have caught the initial glitch itself. Point being, 4-pack became 7-pack, and I was able to give many belated Christmas gifts to my wonderful array of much-deserving friends. Joy!
Besides those two, I abused the many sales and got the following: Greed Corp., Hard Reset, Orcs Must Die!, Hitogata Happa, Dungeons of Dredmor, Bunch of Heroes, Saints Row: The Third, E.Y.E.: Devine Cybermancy, Killing Floor, Chantelise. (of this lot, probably SR3 and Hard Reset are my faves so far, though Killing Floor has some freaking amazing gunplay, probably best of any FPS I've ever played)
Not even sure I'll be able to PLAY all of them, let alone FINISH them! I got more than THIRTY GAMES FOR LESS THAN $100. That's... that's kind of insane! Especially since Australian retail RPPs on AAA titles are approaching $120! Long story short, amazing sale as usual, my haul is quite likely the largest I've ever picked up, and I'll keep watching the metagame closely for more free gifts and coupons.
