Getting back on topic, "Crossover" games appear to be gaining in popularity these days. I would say some of them are rather successful, but do you people reckon that the creators of fighting games are running low on ideas? We either get sequels or crossovers, but I don't think I have seen any original title for a while.
As I do not play all that many games, the paragraph above is my personal opinion and may not hold true.
I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around this. The game is gonna be playing the Street Fighter 2D style. If I'm gonna play as a tekken character then it's gonna get some getting used to. Tekken having 3D environments gave it the ability to have more moves. Like side-stepping moves. I guess they're gonna have to remove those?
I'm hoping that we get some Street Fighter III love in this. Alex and Yun should be shoe-ins, but I'd personally love to see Elena, Urien, Oro, Necro, or Twelve. I'm also hoping to see Karin and maybe definitely Skullomania.

Talking about street fighter capcom is adding DLC characters to it.
