Hmmmmm, well then it's a lot more difficult to know what the problem is. Black screens are usually one of the two problems I mentioned earlier. When it isn't the case it's usually something that is unsolvable. What OS are you using?

Does the intro start up? If not can you go into the file and just run the intro.avi to see if that plays. If it plays I don't know wtf the problem is. If it doesn't that leads to me to believe file corruption.

Your probably right well the intro did start but no music also i notice there was a pop up after i installed it which probably told me something mess up but i didn't think about it since i cant read japanese well thanks anyway for the help i'm going to try playing brave soul now

For who use window xp
try this
first: mount CD1 with daemon tool install game normally with this you can play game but not have voice and music
second: mount disc2 right click now copy file "Game03.dat" and "VoiceIns.exe" to
the directory where you installed the game. Overwrite the old ones.
third: mount disc3 anything except "autorun.exe" and "autorun.inf"
fourth: install bug fix patch and english patch now you will have voice and sound
it work for me

um to whoever uploaded the files. i dont know if its just me but i figured out why it wasn't extracting. its because the last file has to be renamed for it to be recognized by the first file. i realized why i wasn't getting all the game stuff because the files didn't unload right.

Is this like a second Remake to the same game? something is very weird. I know for sure I have "CastleFantasia 2 Renewal" on my PC, and I'm sure I played it already long ago. So how come this looks a bit different? I mean, I see some CGs I never saw and the characters design looks a bit different, Like Arisas armor and Hannas hair. Also the battle-mode characters status screen and some monsters... Anyone have any idea what's going on? 2 renewals seem very unlikely.

Studio Ego games that have a gameplay always demands a good PC specs, since it's map and battles are in "motion" not like Rance which only use simple CGs.

ok trying that now, was in window mode before, but just wondering what's the difference between software emulation the other.

I think the Rapidshare link for part 10 has gone corrupt. I have downloaded it 3 times and get the same message: "the file is corrupt"
The file states it is 20418kb.
But only 19940 loads.
Could you please replace it again?
Maybe its rapidshare? They only let you download around 19k before shutting you down.
