There are 2 ways, one is choosing the 1st book from your key items as Kaimax said.
The other one is reading the yellow book on the table to get into Sitri's room and talking to him(her?).
The difference is that with the 1st method you can scroll through the various poses of each monster you have encountered, while with the 2nd method you can't do so, although you can choose to re-fight them again if you wish.

I can't read Japanese. I figured it out yesterday without using common sense and translating it, though. :p

I have a different problem. I can't see any text at all, with the exception of the stuff on background images. Plus the game freezes on certain actions (the semi-cricle in the circle one). Any ideas why,

the rtp download is down and i cant seem to get rtp to work from other sources. Could anyone help me out with a link for the old version or info on how to use the new versions? I would appretiate it if anyone could help.
