"How did this even happen? I have no idea. Definitely couldn’t have ever predicted I’d be here, that’s for sure. The assistant manager of a bakery? That’s me. Pretty impressive, right? Not when there’s only two people working here. Hmph. I can’t say I’m terribly upset about my current situation though. I mean, to be honest, the whole reason I even ended up in this position is because I love sweets and pastries. It’s not something I usually go on about but it’s true. My parents are rich...which is great. But not if they try and make me follow the same path they did. When it came to decide what I wanted to do with my life, I finally told them. That’s right. I told them I wanted to open my own bakery. That...didn’t go over too well. Long story short, I was basically kind of kicked out to “sort myself out”. Well, I’ll show them. I won’t go back home grovelling to be hired as just another accountant or something equally as boring. I want sweets! I want pastries! I’m pretty stubborn when it comes down to it and really don’t like being told what to do. I guess that’s what basically led me here.
