As of this morning, smash dojo confirmed Sonic as a character. It was one of the most argued over things previously, so I thought people may be interested. Personally I think sonic is and always has been kinda lame, but I guess I can't complain, just means I can pummel him with every other character in the game.Ima totally pwn you with sonic. Let's all hold hands and sing campfire songs about sharing and getting along.
But to be on topic, I got a 360 but if I get a nice chunk of money around Christmas time, a wii and SSBB would be nice. Which is kinda good considering the release date so that my friends won't be able to brag about it while I'm getting all anxious waiting for money :P
And also, I'm kind of excited that sonic is a character. I enjoyed the sonic adventure 2 battle for GC. I realize that the SSB series is a completely different style than that game, but I've always liked Sonic's abilities and quickness. I think he'd be fun to play. Normally I'd say I liked Shadow better, but for this I think it's better to play up the original and not become one of those shadow fanboys lol.
So overall SSBB = win.

When DeDeDe was announced it was hawt enough to invalidate fakku for a few days for me. I didn't realize how badly I wanted him in SSBB until he was actually announced. Him and Metaknight are gonna be my mains for sure.

I'm wishing for Mega Man.I think the public statement awhile back was that there would be one or two in addition to Snack, so there's no guarantee of a third. Generally I'd rather it stick to just Nintendo characters, but I wouldn't be opposed to Geno since he's at least been in a Mario game, even if it wasn't made by Nintendo.
