Dammit this is complicated. I meant the login and shit. Can't even log in even if I inputted the correct name and pass, and I was playing yesterday too.
I finally got in after a few hours of it not working...
So I played about 10 games against AI, and this game is a bit more difficult than it should be. I started with the Crux deck and did the Beginner Dungeon, only to get beaten on the first level 3 times. I gave up and bought the Darklore deck, and have since managed to play to the 7th floor of the Beginner Dungeon.
The mechanics in this game are rather confusing, and the tutorial does a really shit job of explaining it. I still don't completely understand how the attack order works.
It's true that it's fairly complicated. Attack order alternates between players and just picks a random card to attack a random opponent. So a fair bit of luck is involved. Anyway, I've been enjoying the game quite a bit (no energy restriction!!!!) but the crafting requirements seem very high. Oh well. Feel free to add me, my id is m4444.
It is a bit more confusing and complicated, but I'd give it time. It's still in Beta, so I'm pretty sure they'll fine-tune it.
But, as mentioned before, the Tutorial could be written better, and wondering who will attack first is a bit frustrating, but still I feel like it has the potential to be a deep, and compelling online TCG.
The gameplay is pretty simple, once you get use to it. You may want to focus on the follower cards with special attributes shown in the description. For example: For every turn this card get +atk or This card will randomly add + atk and +sta to a fellow member. This is where deck editing is key to winning. With the random card shuffle always try to make the best combo out of what you have.
Spell cards are also important. Helps with buffing, adding health points to character card, subtracting def from opponent's cards, and ETC.
Remember to keep in mind that you can only have up to 10 points on field making up follower cards and spell cards.
