I was gonna buy this but shipping problems completely ruined that. Awesome to hear that is getting a NA relasd.

Hopefully it'll be more in the Capcom vs SNK style than the Marvel vs Capcom style. I may have to actually watch some of the anime that Tatsunoko made so I can appreciate the game better. On another note, I'm an Onimusha fan but I'm pretty pissed off that they added the moron from Onimusha 4 rather than one of the actually good characters from Oni 1-3. I'd have preferred Jubei or Oyu from Oni 2.

I saw some people playing this at Anime Boston and it looked sweet. I really wanted to try it out but oh well haha. Now I just need to get my hands on a Wii so I can play it when it's released.

Time for an update. 2 new characters have been announced for the release. For the Tatsunoko side they have announced that Tekkaman Blade (Tekkaman Blade) will be added and for the Capcom side they have announced that Frank West (Dead Rising) will be added.
You can find them in this recently new trailer from TGS 2009.
Also, Hidetoshi Ishizawa admitted that, just as Cross Generation of Heroes was not initially planned to be released internationally, neither was Ultimate All-Stars planned to be released in Japan. Fan appeals and the R&D teams own hopes eventually resulted in the announcement that the updated game would come to Japanese shores as well.
Recently Seth Killian announced that there will be more characters to be announced soon, speculating that Final Fight characters may be announced.
I personally would like to see either Dean, Mike Hagger, Lucia, Maki, Guy, or Cody added to the mix.

At first I had mixed feelings about it, but systematically as I see more and more of it I'm starting to get hyped about it. True I don't know much of Tatsunoko characters but that doesn't mean they don't look interesting.
I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for this one.

It would be so win if Dante was in the game. I guess it would be too much win for the game to handle.Well when CAPCOM approved of Dante entering Shin Megami Tensei III NOCTURNE, the game became a huge win. But i don't think it is because of Dante in it. But still he made his glorious appearances which cannot be that bad.

Yatterman No. 2! that is just awesome, It's not exactly what I was hoping for, but pretty badass nonetheless. TvC: Ultimate All Stars is also getting a shmup mini game.

If you ever played MMX6 then you should see where im coming from. Just be happy there isn't a "Crazy zero" combo ^.~
Square -> square -> delay -> Up + square (Shoenzan). works wonders once you get it down and really use it o3o.

MMZ Zero would be broken for a fighting game.The hilarious part about this, is that it's happened before, and it's true. SvC Chaos Zero is broken as fuck (second only to Geese in that game), though that game is horrible anyways.

Personally, I'm gonna miss that Genie guy... but, Frank West, MMX Zero, and the newly announced Tatsunoko characters will make me feel better. I have no idea who any of the Tatsunoko characters are, but that won't halt me from enjoying the game.

Still waiting for this to be released For the first time in years, my Wii (or any Ninty console for that matter) is starting to gather a lot of dust.
