This section really needs a thread for this awesome show/character where the latest, and the old, episodes can be discussed [size=11]For those of you that isn't familiar with this show here's the lowdown:[/h] The Angry Video Game Nerd [size=11](abbreviated as AVGN, occasionally shortened to The Nerd)[/h] is the character of a series of farcical retrogaming video reviews by James D. Rolfe. The show generally revolves around retro game reviews that involve bitter rants against particularly low-quality or poorly designed video games. The series began as a feature on YouTube, and later joined ScrewAttack Entertainment, which would later have three of its features, including the AVGN, transferred to GameTrailers exclusively. The show was formerly known as The Angry Nintendo Nerd, a title that was abandoned to avoid legal issues due to the Nintendo trademark, and because the show started reviewing games on other consoles. The Nerd character is an ill-tempered and foul-mouthed video game fanatic. He derives comic appeal from excessive and inventive use of profanity, frequent displays of explicit gestures, and heavy consumption of beer, particularly Rolling Rock or Yuengling. A particular characteristic, which has become something of a trademark of his character, is for him to describe, in great detail, extremely repulsive and painful, usually firmly scatological acts, and to claim that he would rather endure them than to play the game that he is reviewing. Varying amounts of physical comedy are mixed into the verbal abuses. With that done, what's your thoughts about the latest [size=11](Little Red Hood)[/h] episode? I personally thought it was kinda average, not bad, but the game wasn't really that interesting either, even though it was clearly just a mass of the random shit we love to see him rage about. The vagina comment at the beginning was probably the best part of the episode Im still waiting for the E.T. episode, seeing as how everyone and their grandma continue to claim that it's the worst game ever made. AVGN doesn't seem to be in a hurry to review it though. [size=10]It also needs more Nerdy Turd[/h]

AVGN in Kickassia would be Ã¼ber-epic, dunno if it'll happen though, he's not really part of the TGWTG team.
But even a brief cameo would be awesome.

Lol, just watched the latest episode of Kickassia and he did indeed show up in a cameo, but not as AVGN.

I haven't watched his last video yet but i kinda expect what you just said smashspite.
I've got the feeling that making videos as the AVGN has become like a burden to him.

Tbh i was expecting more, but it wasn't bad.
Always when there's a game i don't really find interesting i don't really find the episode interesting, and this was the case here.
