Classic RE2 was a masterpiece when it came to horror games and is still looked at as one of the BEST horror games to this day and I'm happy to say the remake tops the Classic RE2. This game is amazing, everything as soo much love put into it and when you play you can tell. Capcom went all out on this game showing they knew how much the fans love the Classic RE2 even going so far to add nods to the Classic RE2.
One of the greatest games I've ever played in my life, I have a hard time remembering one that made me feel as much as Automata did (I'd argue it's very serious competition for great classics of my school years like FFIX, the original Kingdom Hearts, Okami and a few others).
Resident Evil 2 Remake - 8.5/10
I've always been a huge fan of the original PSX game, so it took me a while to adapt to the complete makeover of the remake, but overall it is a good game, but not worth the hype it received imho. I am, however, very impressed with how Capcom managed to make G so terrifying, its later mutations are stuff that would fit well in Dead Space.
Recentely played through Persona 3 and 4 to get in the mood for Persona 5 Royal.
Great games, both of them, but 3 has the edge for me. The story felt tighter, the characters more believable and better designed all around.
Last game I've "beaten" was MHW:IB, though I feel like the main story doesn't count since post-story content is plenty and still growing.
Code Vein would be the last one I consider to have beaten. Pretty solid for an "anime Dark Souls", it has its flaws but I can definitely see this game having some dedicated players. Haven't gotten around to the DLCs yet but it unfortunately doesn't seem that great based on the description/reviews.
I mostly play online games nowadays like CoD Warzone, Fortnite, Tekken 7 etc. But the last single player game I beat was Death Stranding. I am in the camp of those really loving that game.
Gamepass has been both a blessing and a curse for me. A blessing in that I actually get to play a bunch of new games which I can usually never do bc I can’t afford them. And it’s a curse in that I have so many games at my fingertips I usually end up never finishing them. Because of that the last game I actually rolled credits on was the Surge which I finished sometime in the middle of last year.
Yeah I play a lot of games and have a lot of unfinished games too, but the last game I beat was probably Kingdom hearts 3. I could not put that game down when I played it. That's just the most recent game I finished. Just bought DOOM eternal and I'll probably beat that soon.
