Top 3 fav game characters

Self explanatory title is self explanatory. Also, to avoid this just simply being a naming thread post your reasons for liking those characters as well.

Also if you want post your most hated characters as well. I actually have many though so it could take a while. I'll edit when I decide.

Anyways for me it would have to be

1. Isaac Clarke from Dead Space:
Spoiler:
He singlehandedly fought off the entire crew(plus some colonists) of the largest planet cracker type vessel in his universe while simultaneously repairing a ship in deteriorating orbit, after which he found out he was insane, destroyed the source of the threat on his life, then basically destroyed a planet. Four years later he wakes up in a strait jacket in the SAME situation & not only manages to survive, he fucks everything up all over again, cures his insanity, & even gets a hot 1 eyed love interest in the process.

2. Ultimecia from FF8:
Spoiler:
In the perfect mindfuck ever you find out that everything you do in the game leads to her creation, and by defeating her ensure that a neverending loop occur. She also intentionally played the stereotypical angle of an evil sorceress, rather than a good guy with bad ideas. FUCK YES!

3. Desco from Disgaea 4:

Shes just too damn cute. & a monster girl. EPIC WIN! Need I say more?

1. Matt Hazard from Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard

If you don't know why I love him so much, you need to play the game. I don't even know how to explain his awesomeness.


2. Caim from Drakengard
Spoiler:
Mostly a silent protagonist, after he loses his voice. He's a total badass that wields a giant-ass - amazingly designed - sword and(kinda)has a dragon. He massacred an army. Fought other dragons. And he [insert spoiler for ALL FIVE ENDINGS!!] Wasn't that awesome!?


3. Barry (Fucking) Wheeler from Alan Wake

The perfect sidekick. He's hilarious, kinda fat in the funny way and wicked goofy.

Naoto Shirogane from Persona 4- a character that actually has depth instead of your regular moe blob that plagues games today.

Cocona Bartel from Ar Tonelico 2/ Ar Tonelico Qoga- her growth from 2 to Qoga is just amazing.

Rita Mordio from Tales of Vesperia- her looks added to her funny Japanese dialogues are just too cute. I mean just look at this indignation!

GySgt. Edward Buck - Halo 3: ODST

Spoiler:
Voiced by Nathan Fillion, Buck is pretty much Malcolm Reynolds in the Halo Universe. Doesn't hurt that both Alan Tudyk and Adam Baldwin (Wash and Jayne) also voice men in his squad.

Jak from Jak and Daxter

Jak was cool and he didnt even speak until the second game, I loved how they developed his character throughout the series.

Gene from God Hand
He's funny but he's also a great fighter and got some cool moves

Dante from Devil May Cry
Same reason as above, but he also use various weapons and it's a Demon

Arisato Minato (Main Character) from Persona 3
I most like him because of his look. An he can evoke spirits with a gun

1. Commander Shepard (Sheploo)(Mass Effect)
Spoiler:
Saved the galaxy once from highly advanced sentient AIs who are bent on repeating a cycle of galactic genocide. Is going to do it again in ME3. Plus, he has a pretty catchy theme song.


2. Sephiroth (Final Fantasy VII)
Spoiler:
Badass swordsman in a trenchcoat who wields a long as hell katana and can destroy the Solar System as many times as he pleases. Also, has a badass theme song.


3. Dizzy (Guilty Gear)
Spoiler:
Insanely powerful biological weapon who's 3 years old but has the body and mind of an 18 year old. Love the long blue hair and her innocence. Pretty cool theme song too.

1. Thrall, from all of Warcraft. He's stalwart, ferocious, and infinite in his compassion. Blizzard's merger with Activision sucks total ass, but some of their juicy lore remains in tact, and the recent character development for Thrall is super tasty.

2. Veronica Santangelo from New Vegas. I happen to think Felicia Day's VA work is pretty adorable, and all of my New Vegas characters are BFFs with Veronica. xD; She's so adorkable. And kind. And one hell of a puncher.

3. John Cleese as Jasper in Fable III. I'm sorry, but it's FUCKING JOHN CLEESE.

It just doesn't get anymore british awesome.

Bayonetta from err... Bayonetta

Spoiler:
That wit, the way she teases, her calmness and the way she kills in a playful yet brutal manner is amazing. Torture attacks = There is no kill like overkill. Also, at first, she was portrayed as callous and nonchalant but in the end, you will really see that she is a really (or a bit) caring person. Adding the fact that she really looks like one of my closest friend (though not that tall).


Kefka Palazzo from Final Fantasy VI

Spoiler:
He starts of as a total loser to one of the most well known villain in video games. He has some of the best dialogues in Final Fantasy. Unpredictable and has no super planned motive, just an "I need more power so I can destroy more stuff" mode. He totally showed that even the most worthless, craziest and despicable person can ascend godhood, manipulate people to server his really obviously crazy desires, and almost wipe out all life on Earth.


Ethan Mars from Heavy Rain

Seriously, How far are you willing to go to save your own child? I even asked that to myself. I played this game while really thinking I'm Ethan. Therefore, I did all decisions based on how I'll do them in reality.

1. Hakumen from the Blazblue series

He is just a total badass that even when only around 20% power he is able to beat down anyother characters he comes across, and him looking epic does not hurt either.


2. Kirby from the ... Kirby series

As only Kirby can look awesome and manly when sucking up everything in his path all while in pink.


3. Hazama/Terumi from the Blazblue series

As Hazama is such a troll in game and he just makes the the other characters look like petty wannabes show that he deserves the nickname of Trollzama, this and more make me think Hazama is hilarious and awesome character.

1. Yoshimitsu from the Tekken Series.
Spoiler:
Its to name just one reason why I'm such a fanatic for him, but I can say it started with Tekken 3. His back story and play style there is what drew to me to him in the first place. And without him, I don't think I would have enjoyed playing though the other games.

2.Tidus from Final Fantasy X

He is the protagonist of my favorite game ever. 'nerf said.

3.Nico Bellic from GTA4
Spoiler:
Nico has so much depth put into his character that I had no choice but to feel a connection with him. And its because of that connection GTA4 was as great as it was for me.
