Those weren't translation errors. JASTUSA had to INTENTIONALLY change the car names in the text to avoid having to pay licensing fees. They also did that with the first game. I've got a patch that fixes the name for the second game up.

And some of the changes turned out to be derpy, since they either unintentionally changed one real manufacturer name (Toyota) to another real one (Toda), or the same thing happened with the model name
(minor case: Elise -> Elite)
(MAJOR case: RX-8 -> XR8)
The original and changed names may look similar, but each refer to different cars. The first case was within the same maker. The second case featured completely fucking different cars from completely different makers.
It doesn't stop there. One car's electronic equipment, The Evo VIII's Active Yaw Control, got changed into the non-sensical Active Yoke Control.

I think i just did the non-h-scenes ending.
I just pressed various girls at start and ended up racing with Rinka, we eventually won all the races and in the end he said i have to go to my homeland and Rinka says sure, ill go by car to visit u sometimes and thats it. There were barely any CG's.

Dang, seems like they are gone in the meantime:( Would be cool to have the true names, it can be confusing with the fake names. It's especially hard to guess what a Lexington is by just hearing the name(A Cayman? Really? Thought it might be a Boxster).
