Total War: Shogun 2 - Fall of the Samurai

Since no one is bothering with the old Shogun thread (and the fact I can't bump it up), I decided to make a dedicated thread for the upcoming DLC-Expansion pack, Fall of the Samurai.

Bring Katanas to a Musket fight.

Seeing how the trailer said that this is around 18XX(Forget the year when i was typing lol.)

Can i safely assume that this game is happening during the Shinsengumi era?

Meiji Restoration.

Shinsengumi didn't have an era, but it was the era wherein they existed.

Yeah i know but i mean it is the era where Shinsengumi fight for the Bakufu and loses to the Imperial army isn't it?

I'm not that well-versed in Japanese history.
