They said that Type-Moon will make a re-make of Tsukihime, but it's a project after Mahotsukai no Yoru...... Still a long ways to go and if it's not english, than those who can't read japanese have to wait Mirrormoon to translate it first..... :(

So, Let me get this straight...
Tsukihime is nothing more than a project-for-fun made by Type-Moon, but was never expected to be popular to the point of demand. Since it was a mere project-for-fun, it was small, with it's mere less-than-200MB file size and unvoiced features.
Did I miss anything? Any mistakes?

more like: they were limited by capital and manpower to have pros do things like original bgm, have assistants to complete 200 cgs, and have hawt sounding seiyuus moan for their game

If your having problems I suggest you try searching for the Tsukihime game disc to download (Or even the Tsukibako which includes everything Tsukihime) and then apply the english translation patches that MirrorMoon created.

A little late but if you're having trouble with freezes, check the CD folder and make sure the music tracks are in .ogg format. I don't know what this download includes but .mp3s sometimes cause Tsukihime's engine to crash when it tries to play a track; I had that problem at first too because my first copy came with mp3s; I ended up having to create .oggs from the disc.
&& to disable instant text display I believe you have to hit o and it should stop.
Just finished playing this (all routes) for the second time. It's absolutely brilliant, one of those stories everybody should read at some point IMO.

The one reuploaded is no the portable one. This version is self contained and has everyone loaded in already. You can put it on a flash drive and go.
The one on reuploaded doesn't have working music. You would need to download and install that yourself.
I'd also like this to be reuploaded. While this version didn't work after I upgraded to windows 7, it's easy to get friends into it by having one simple link and download.

I did't know that. I havent tried the reuploaded one I just saw in the working links that it was uploaded again. Sorry I didn't check it out deeper before posting
