Plot:
Umineko no Naku Koro ni takes place in the year 1986 during the time frame of October 4 and October 5 on a secluded island named Rokkenjima. The head of a wealthy family named Kinzo Ushiromiya, who lives on and owns Rokkenjima, is near death, and eleven of his family members arrive on the island to discuss how Kinzo's assets will be divided once he is dead. Also on the island are five of Kinzo's servants, and his personal physician. After the eleven family members arrive, a typhoon traps them on the island and shortly after people start to get mysteriously murdered.

Any one managed to figure out the truth of the story yet?Well, considering the series hasn't finished yet, no one can say they are right. But there are good theories lingering around.

Finally finished this EP and I have to say it was pretty epic. Still hasn't helped me any in fleshing out a detailed theory except for minor details. Still torn between Fantasy or Mystery especially with how it ended...
Also looked into other theories and they seem a little too detailed to be considered right. Oh well I guess future releases will tell. :)

Quick question: if we already have eps 1-4 downloaded, what exactly do we do now? Do we have to redownload all 4 MU links or what?

EP 1-4 is in one bundle called Umineko no Naku Koro Ni
EP 5+ is in another bundle called Umineko no Naku Koro Ni Chiru
So basically, Chiru is a sequel and is a separate game.

Well I understand that like how Higurashi no Naku Koro ni was 1-4 while Higurrashi no Naku Koro ni Kai was 5-8, I'm just wondering what exactly is on the like 1600 MB of megaupload data for this one.
EDIT: Well, if I understand correctly, downloading the MU will do Umineko eps 5-8 even though 7 and 8 aren't out yet, or am I wrong?

Only up to 6 have been released so far. What makes the files so huge is mainly BGM and they carry over in each game, also they add songs.

How much of EP6 Translated? If any at all. I know All of 5 is translated but im not going to get EP6 Till it is all the way translated. Does anyone know if all of EP6 is translated or how much of it is?

There has actually been a lot of progress lately on the EP6 translation, but in bits and pieces that makes it hard to get a solid percentage number. We'll probably have one out when we release the new EP1-4 patch, which has unfortunately been delaying us some. However, we are working on the EP6 patch as I'm writing this, so that is no longer being put on hold for the EP1-4 patch (we have different people working each now).
Btw, it was previously listed at 6%.
