Video Game that takes a long time to beat?

First one was the one that I kept on getting my ass handed to me in. But I got both, first one in digital second I got the umd. as embarrassing as it is to say, it took over 200 to beat him. One wrong move and I was chaos's bitch, cause apparently I had bad equipment or something. It took all night, I didn't get to sleep at all... So I slept in class : ). Lol. Have you tried god eater burst?

Yep, I have it. I'm also pretty sure that I finished it. The only reason that I hated the game is because I probably kept comparing it against Monster Hunter. (which is of course the better one XD)

I say Final Fantasy because there is always THAT boss that always slows down your progress. For example right now i'm playing FFX on my PS2. I can't get passed lady Yunalesca. So i have to spend some time on the side boosting my party just so i can beat her. I need that fucking "Holy" magic to beat her and the ability is like 15 spheres away, fuck!

My psp screen is cracked to were nothing visible, so I can't play games anymore : (. I used it once before on fantasy star portable 2. It's a shame it would've been fun to play god eater burst with someone who can actually fight. Seriously all the AI or whatever they are called were only useful for reviving you. were you ever able to beat the mission were you fight 2 susano'o alone? I was so close I killed one and almost killed the second. Btw I thought you couldn't play god eater with someone over the Internet?

Lol, take better care of your psp yo!! And yes I did beat that mission( I think). I had a friend that liked GEB more than MH so I helped him and vice versa. Ad-hoc party is like a ps3 app that lets you connect your psp to others worldwide(?), so you can play ad-hoc games w/ others. And buy the VITA if you have the $$$$!

I want one but it might be awhile 3DS and manga are draining my wallet dry at the moment. And eventually wii u. But I will probably get the monster hunter 3DS, I seen the gameplay video and it looks to good to pass up.

What system are they on? I might get it, but the Disney characters has made me reluctant to play them. Only reason I'm getting it is because the gameplay looks fun. And the black haired guy who was speaking in unison with the guy who looks like sephiroth. And has the black aura around him. seems interesting.

After Skyrim was announced I felt like some Elder Scrolls, they had this one for free, I never did finish it because it's so massive and time consuming! It does feature Fast Travel and all, so you don't actually have to walk anywhere, but the dungeons are so massive and there are so many of them and the quests are infinite. It's enough to drive someone O_o

Other than that your best bet is an MMORPG like World of Warcraft or The Old Republic. They are great for sucking up time like nobody's business.

If quality doesn't matter that much, and you don't want to shell out any cash, you can go with Free to Play MMORPG's like DC Universe Online, Champion's Online, Allods Online, Everquest 2, Dungeons & Dragons Online, Lord of the Rings Online, Runes of Magic, Perfect World, Forsaken World, Fallen Earth, APB: Reloaded, and Age of Conan.

Agreed. Any of the Elder Scrolls are long to finish, even though Skyrim took me less than I would expect to totally wipe(all quest, side quests, achievements, objects etc)took me a while, 150 or so hours, but I never found that crushing difficulty I found in Oblivion(which I didn't finish><) or in Morrowind(which I thought I had finished but hadn't><), even in hard mode.

But yeah, huge life spans for games.

Final Fantasy 4 the complete collection... jeez it took me months just to get every character in After Years.

FF2... It's really a pain in the ass and I'm still not done with it.
FF Dissidia 012... I beat feral choas and all but there is still the shit loud of gateways and items...
KH re: Chain of Memories... all I have to say is fuck Riku, Larxene, Axel and Marluxia... probable killed me 1000 times each.

Dragon Quest 9, or Dragon Quest V without a guide. Dragon Quest games are long if you don't have a guide.

Persona Games are usually easy and short. As far as megatens go Strange Journey is preety lengthy on a first run, and The digital devil saga is also quite lengthy, but they are two games. Nocturne is about the same length as Persona 3's Journey. Devil Survivors are Short but have a lot of re-playability.

Disgaea Games are almost endless.... Personally prefer I prefer Disgaea 2, just for the main characters
