True. Indie games can only ever be an entertaining sideshow or very rough round the edges, lets be honest; consider that the Indie award tonight was all XBLA and PS3 arcade games. You need serious money and resources to put together a proper, cinematic gem of a game which would stand any chance.

Warhammer 40k: Dawn of war 2 was a great one for me, but ya there hasn't been that many rts releases this year :P
