No status updates since June? Amorim you dead?Not entirely.
Mix laziness with a bunch of other stuff that I do on my free time and you have the reason of not updating since june. Also, I'll be keeping a low profile on VN uploads at least for a while.
I have intentions of updating the list again. Specially with the announcement of fucking Euphoria and Eden. If I don't update it this week it'll surely be on the next.

Couldn't help but notice Clannad down there in the misc section... who's in charge of releasing that and why? The patch that's been around for years works wonderfully enough and practically all of Key's beautiful works (barring the yet to be released Angel Beats VNs) have been fan translated.
Not complaining, but I wish companies would choose titles that HAVEN'T been translated at all. Like maybe some of the untranslated stuff from Minatosoft and Minato Carnival. Navel and Baseson too. Or Palette! For those that want some good Nukige, maybe the stuff with Happoubu Jin (I think that's how it's spelled) art like Resort Boin and Kanojo x3. Stuff from BootUP! like Aneimo is also good...

Thanks for noticing it. Just fixed it. While I was at it I fixed an error on Clannad VNDB link and added status for Pure Pure. A user was kind enough to send me a message about it.

They'll use a kickstarter first and then attempt to sell the game on Steam. Regarding the already existing Clannad fan-translation patch, its translation has some severe mistakes. With the initial announcement of Clannad localization using the fan-translation, a lot of fans (myself included) manifested their concern about its use and so Sekai Project said on their tumblr that they're re-translating the VN.
I'm not too fond of Sekai Project but honestly, I'm glad to see some official legitimacy being given to titles such as Grisaia and Clannad. However, this does not mean that I approve of the methods. This specially applies to the incompetence they're displaying regarding Grisaia no Kajitsu localization project.

Ah, okay, so Sekai IS the one still doing it. In spite of Sekai's issues, it's still pretty amazing/awesome they convinced a big company like Key that they could start officially translating and selling. While I'm a little iffy on the circumstances myself, I'm happy to see VNs are getting more attention and translation isn't out of the question. The system and companies translating are far from perfect (JAST releasing like one game a year while they still have over a dozen on their to-do/STILL in beta list, Mangagamer does too much Nukige and Moenovel's ridiculous EXCLUDING of story content) at least more VNs are getting translated these days so the stories can be enjoyed. Still wish they'd be faster and release some of the bigger titles, but that's just me pouting. I've can't find it in myself to complain since I'm not doing the work and I don't contribute.
Of course, I will voice outrage if something stupid happens. Like exclusion of content or things related. If you're going to translate, translate and give the WHOLE PRODUCT instead a story that's missing a chunk. I'm grateful for VN translators/companies, but please do it RIGHT.

Just noticed that all the Majikoi TLs are off the list now. Is there some legal issue, or does none of their groups want to finish anything they've started anymore?

NO FUCKING WAY! Kara No Shoujo had a direct sequel!? After completing the first game it left a gaping pit in my heart. The game itself just felt so extremely incomplete ending the way that it did. Now I have something to look forward to.

Is there some legal issue, or does none of their groups want to finish anything they've started anymore?I think there's a group currently working on the rest of Majikoi on Fuwanovel and honestly, until they provide some translation examples I'll refrain from including the project on this list. So far, Fuwanovel had some translators that also use machine-translation which is something that simply doesn't do justice to that VN. This is the reason why the current Makikoi project isn't posted. Regarding the other Majikoi VNs, I'm not aware of any other team continuing the work on them.
