What are some light-hearted happy games you enjoy?

I've been playing a lot of dark, gritty, and serious games lately. Although they are fun, I've been looking for some happy-fun games. Does anyone have a suggestion for this?

Try Tales of Graces F. The games is all about friendship and it's a very great rpg as well.

Harvest Moon [snes] Brings back countless memories of my winters shut in in South Dakota.
Kirby All Star is quite possibly the only game that I have played multiple times throughout my entire life.

Parappa and GuitaruMan Lives! are must haves very cozy art style really brings it out, they are just as good as they were on the ps1 and 2.

Little Big Planet is a good one as well.

those are ones that grab me immediately, I can't say for sure for the other systems. Sure there was Super Mario Galaxy but the whole storytime thing in the game got soooo grimdark it crossed some lines.

I haven't heard of those but I'll definitely check them out! I also love Harvest Moon, they are really cool games. I haven't played any new ones since the Game Cube though.

I think Pokemon is a happy game.

Dead or Alive 5. Seeing those bounce physics always makes me smile. :D

In all seriousness, the most recent game similar to what I call 'light-hearted' was Record of Agarest 2 for my PS3. A good JRPG that fall off the grid from people's eyes due to the fact there are some all lot of 'adult-rated' content in it. But, still doesn't really remove it from the game itself, just more flavor to it IMO.

Flower and Journey are some nice games for the PS3.

Those are the best 4 I can think of, SNES and Genesis mostly have light hearted games.

Thanks for the help everyone! I checked out the games people suggested. I bought Animal Crossing: City Folk -I haven't played one of those in a long time- and Harvest Moon Tree Of Tranquility. I think the last Harvest Moon game I played was More Friends from Mineral Town, so it's been awhile. I plan to check out all the games that have been recommended, besides the ones I have already played. Thanks again! :D

You know I have over 30 PS3 games and the most light-hearted game I have is probably Marvel vs. Capcom 3 even though it's about Galactus ending the world.
