Hi i just bought a Samsung LED TV and i am looking forward into buying a gaming console to incorporate with my new TV and i am confused what should i buy. i myself am a RPG gamer which i have mainly played are form square enix and atlus in the PS2 like ffx, ffx-2, ff12, digital devil saga 1 and 2, persona 3 and 4, etc... and many psone titles like ff1,2,4,5,6,7,8,9 etc... just by looking into the selection of RPGs i think PS3 wins but i would like to get your opinion and feedback in order to make a decision on which gaming console i should buy.

If your into JRPGs then the PS3 is your best bet the Xbox 360 is mainly for games made in the west.

yeah, judging by what you like ps3 is the way to go, way more rpg's. And with the next gen xbox coming sooner then the ps4 system you'll get more use out of your ps3 then the xbox. And this is from a xbox user.

Ps3 consul is better. Xbox has better games except jrpg/vn type games. Ps3 is free online.. which depending on your server locale.. is ok to shit. Xbox live is overall better on online game except you pay 39 a year.. except people who get free cards and codes. ^_^ i have both but don't play much online.

Since you like RPGS, PS3 is the choice.
Xbox got some RPGs, but I sure that there is also a PS3 counterpart. PS3 is more of RPGs and Xbox is like shooters, fighters, etc. Stuff like that.

EVERYONE has an xbox now.. really makes me feel bad as a gamer, BUT!
Probably for you, a PS3, depending on how much you play, The Free-Online feature brings alot of poeple who are in it for CoD & Battlefield, so if you going for multiplayer, i'd say away from those titles (Even if it were for Xbox/PS3/PC)
Personnaly I like the controller for the 360' more than the PS3's, It feels alot smoother for action, Shooters, adventure, RPG, and what have you. The PS3's is alot more senstive and they have alot of PS3-Only games which use the Six-Axes (not many anymore though).

Mostly in North America, but the PS3 is popular in Europe and Asia.

IF I lived in America and didnt give shit about RPGs and JRPG's Xbox is the only viable choice~ (although I dont really like Halo or GoW.)
ON the other hand, If youre more fascinated or in to Japanese games, PS3 wins this.
