I've been replaying Suikoden 1 recently. Still mostly enjoying it, though it's sometimes rather difficult to figure out how to recruit NPCs.
The last RPG that I finished was Persona 4. That was about three years ago. Since then, I've played quite a bit of Sakura Wars 5 (about half of the game is tactical RPG), and a decent amount of DQ9 and Trails in the Sky. But it looks like the days when I could justify spending forty or more hours on a single video game are over...
Radiata stories is also a good one because it puts you in awkward choice situations, like side with the Elfish creatures or the Humans, or stay the Knights of Radiata or go rogue looking for a friend. Very compromising stuff. Not saying I wish the human race should die. But a full on war to eradicate the Elfish races just because they pose a potential threat is some serious Hitler type crazy shit. Not to mention an evil curse disease that makes old Elfish person crazy to the point of genocide is pretty f'ed up too
The Ogre Battle series. Person of Lordly Caliber wasted much of my youth, and Tactics Ogre (LUCT) is wasting my time know. Sadly the series is not even half done.
