dreamcast dreamcast dreamcast dreamcast. That mofo had arcade game ports to it which was tight. I'd play that shit until the next day if i had the chance again.
PS1, That was, and still is, the console for RPGs. 4 Final fantasies, 2 Star Oceans, Legend of Dragoon, Legend of Legaia, Chrono Cross, Vagrant Story. It was also SquareSofts(now Enix) breakout into becoming the one of the video games industry's top developers.
SNES for sure! All the awesome RPGs and anime-inspired games, and also all the kickass Dragonball Z fighting games before the flood of Atari crap came out (except for Burst Limit; that shit is awesome!) :D
64 was my childhood. I remember the first time I played Mario 64. Holy shit. But beside my nostalgia, there were countless titles in its library that were and are considered the BEST gaming has to offer. Not just Nintendo 1st party titles either. Mischief Makers, Blast Corps, Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon, and so many more classic games.
Ahh the days when I played Crash Bandicoot in the original Playstation
they were truly great games, and of course the RPG :P
In the other hand the N64 and Snes were perfect to me in their time :)
that's a very hard choice indeed. I'd have to go with the N64 and the most "missed" though... i mean, i played it the most back in the day. We didn't have very many games on the NES and SNES that stuck with me nearly as much as the N64 with games like Mario 64, Starfox, Harvest Moon 64, Bomber man 64, SSB, and many others. Mine finally died on me just the other day though, so that may be the reason I'm wanting it so bad -_-
At the same time though, almost all of the systems on the list have a special place in my heart =P. Dreamcast and the Genesis for just being all Sega goodness (Shenmue is one of my favorite games), the PS1 for all the great RPGs, and can't really say i miss the PS2 though... i was just playing a PS2 game on my PS3 earlier today XD
Before Ikaruga came to the Gamecube, it was on the Sega Dreamcast. Being among the first of my circle of friends to have a home version of the game was quite a thrill.
It held much promise, but didn't even have much of a long run before being discontinued. Well, other than the rare game being released every now and then.
All in all, I miss it, and activision better come out with a sequel for Blue Stinger.
SNES is also up there with the genesis and N64, but the genesis and N64 just had so many more games I enjoyed, than the SNES had.
I'm kind of anti-Sony, but isn't the PS1 and PS2 games playable on the PS3? So I don't see how you could miss either of those systems.
I hated the Dreamcast. Not the games, but the controller... one of the worst controller designs ever. Never bothered to play many of the games, due to the horrid controller design.
I've been a member here for a long time, but I think this is my first ever post.
