White Knight Chronicles

Ive recently returned to White Knight Chronicles after taking like a year off of it for various reasons. Now as WKC2 comes down on the horizon(at least where I am if youre overseas you may already have it) I find myself conflicted as to where to get it.

So I posted this poll to see what you think of this game, and also to kinda try to make some friends to quest with. Soloing is taxing. (Plus playing with fellow FAKKU members would make playing soooo much better)

So guys. Opinions?

Also, are you getting WKC2?

I got as far as the desert place. Waste of 40 dollars.

Overa I like the game and even brought wkc2, the community is great and the gameplay is somewhat engaging but the whole grinding aspect for mats and guild rank for me got tiring, especially since everyone spams the gr quests like big red in wkc.
But as always I will be drawn back into it at some point....

I just remember the story being horrible. SUPER horrible.

Yeah I think its agreed even among WKC users that the story is some glorified super mario shit.

Filled with bugs, the story is cliche, artwork is fine, has a character creating feature but it's useless since your character won't be the main character anyway so don't bother. Has a SIMS like mini-game where you create towns of your own which is kind of intriguing at first but when the people of the net gets bored and noone else is online it gets pretty dull.

I got up to where you controlled the character for the first time and got bored.

I still have some hope for the series.
WKC2 seems promising if its not already out.
I played through it and mostly ignored the story but what really got to me was the battle system. It was soooooooooo SLOW. OMG I fell asleep so many times trying to play this game no joke.

Helpful not: If you EVER fall asleep whilst using an entertainment medium immediately lost all hope for it and proceed to destroy the source.

the online online in the first was ok and since there is no games that i like this summer i gonna be picking it up with hope of not trying to re sale it after a week
