WoW tips?

Sup ppl,I've been thinking of playing world of Warcraft and was wondering could someone tell me a little bit about it or just give a bit of advise on it. I'm a big fan of RPGs but never played wow so I've gotten bored of these console ones and thought of wow and how cool it looked. Anything that could help this newbie would be greatly apperciated for my future gaming expirence.

Thanks every for some very good and not so very good advise(if I wanted an opinion from people) but I think I'll just wait for Elder scrolls online but still thanks.
