PC gaming has better Graphics and more community input but it's much more complex and i personally hate having to lower Graphics on games seems wrong they put that work into the game you should experience it all and to do that every year or 2 you'd have to upgrade something to be ahead of the curve also when you say Computer people think keyboard and mouse which doesn't, in my opinion feel as good as a controller.
So it has great benefits but equally bad negative where consoles are a happy medium no complicated things to run a game, no upgrading individual parts, cheaper and no need to lower the graphics on a game.
That's my thoughts, though i do want to get a good gaming computer eventually so yeah hopefully soon i'll be joining you. :p
The thing is though that as far as graphics go the console norm is low on a computer port. For example, BF3 on Xbox and PS3 ran on a computer-equivalent low and had half the framerate of the PC version. On your controller point, any game on the PC that would've come out on the consoles will have controller support. Heck, even some strictly PC games will have controller support. In terms of upgrading, I haven't had to upgrade my computer in 3 years (coming on 4) and I still haven't encountered a game I can't ramp up to ultra. It's not even more expensive unless you want cutting edge NAO. The 540 dollar graphics card my machine uses is now a 150 dollar graphics card. People just think computers are super expensive because they don't shop deals on say newegg or just look at pre-assembled rigs instead of building one themselves. You could probably build the machine I took 1100 to build for 6-700 depending on what time of year you build it. 600 for sure if you shopped around Black Friday.
