Grandparents had a Sega Genesis in their basement I used to play too when I was a kid. Other grandparents had an old Atari like Spalose has. Cousin had a Gameboy and a Virtuaboy we'd share. And I used to play the hell out of my brothers dreamcast. I have always had a mindset that its better to share and play together rather than hog a system for yourself.
If I don't want to play a PC game I just go to my sisters house and play her Wii with her or go to a friends house and play their PS3/XBOX360 with them. I don't think I'll own a console again. All of those systems were definitely worth it though.
Nintendo Entertainment System. After that i brought PS2. That kinda means that i played on NES until i got PS2.
Wow, if you played on the nes then the ps2, that mustve been quite the graphics change. I went up through gens, like sega to the nes to the ps. its crazy how graphics have gotten so much better over the years.
Indeed i was amazed by the graphic change. after all

The first video game system ever played? Probably Sega Genesis and SNES when I was 3. Yep... playing games since I was 3 years old...
I remember when I was 4 and they had the promotions for Star Fox in stores and there were alot of ppl gathering around. They thought it was cute when a 4 year old came to play but then they all cried when I got the best time and highest score. I put adults to shame.
My first system was the Ps1 which broke due to my mom dropping it
but later on in life i got the older systems i didnt have a chance to grow up with.
Its the main reason why im a retro gamer but I do take a swim in the present often.
All hail the "Wooden" age of gaming (First person to quote me the correct answer gets +rep.)

Hmmm, the first one I ever got was a tiny little thing called the SNES. Popularly known as 'that little thing that's not fun' these days by most, it's actually a blast if you know the good games.
