hmm... does anyone have a problem with it simply freezing right when it starts ie the window pops up and the music starts but there's only a white screen? it could be the registry error, but the dl is down, could someone who knows what is it and has it repost it please? thanks

if the dl was cut short then i shouldn't have been able to even extract. But i tried re-dling and reinstalling and i still have the same issue.

but unfortunately, that did not work either, do you think you could upload the the save file with the all the sounds turned off, i find that turning off the sound usually fixes certain freeze problems

What OP system are you running? and are you running your computers Non-Unicode for programs in Japanese.. i took a screen of what its supposed to be..

sorry for the very delayed reply, didn't realize that you had replied, i'm running windows xp, and yes the language code is japanese. it's an odd thing taht i can't run this game nor critical point as i can run everything else i tried ie, kanon, clannad, sengoku rance, gadget trial, wanko to k, otoboku, hinata bokko, etc.
and the games that freeze are the two mentioned above, as well as cross channel and princess waltz, however they freeze in the middle, ie princess waltz, at transformation, and cross channel at the end of a route and a video plays. with both instances turning off the sound/music in the game allowed it to continue without a problem.
that's why i was wondering if you had a savefile with all the sounds turned off to see if that helps

I have to Talk to AnimeHolic he told me about the Codec that works for everything..

K-Lite is what i have and i found the source.
it works for all my games.

Good luck man i hope it works this time.. un-install game and re-install after you DL this Codec. it may help if it still doesnt work..
