Perhaps you are right, and maybe I am being overly sensitive. But being from a literary family, comment like that strike a sour cord.

If my past caused me to take an innocent joke seriously, then you have my apology. The trouble with telling jokes to people you don't know, is sometimes they just don't get the punchline (like me). I will remove the minus rep. Don't let my overreaction keep you from being an active member of the site.
