You float by, beautiful and serene
just like you were a dream
I found you. I finally found you.
I reach out to take a hold of your hand.
To covet your touch and keep you close
but you just float by, beautiful and serene
just like you were a dream

I long for the day when you become my reality
the day when all my hopes come true
I long for the time when I can kiss you
and tell you how dear you are
instead I am left crying
as you just float by, beautiful and serene
just like you were a dream

I sleep and imagine us together
it is such a heart warming scene
all our most sincere emotions connect
we meld at the deepest level
and our true feelings give birth
then I wake up and see you float by,
beautiful and serene
just like you were a dream

I wonder if you watch me
with your deep and caring eyes
your warm and kind smile
if you long for me just as I long for you
you keep getting farther and farther away
I don't care, I will catch you.
no matter how long it takes
for now I deeply wish for my thoughts to reach you
