Yang woke slowly, adjusting to her body as her brain turned itself on. She kept her eyes closed, prolonging the moment before she would have to get out of bed. She could see warm light filtering in through her eyelids, and she rolled over on to her stomach, opening her eyes and looking up at the ceiling. The room was still mostly dark, and the first pink rays of sun were only just starting to peek through the windows. Yang blinked a few times to focus her eyes and yawned silently, cracking her neck as she did. She lay in bed, taking a silent moment to listen to her room mates breathe in their sleep. Except she heard only the rise and fall of two chests, Ruby’s heavy, lumbering breaths, and the rhythmic cadence of Wiess’ lungs filling and emptying. Blake was not asleep.
Yang shifted in bed, craning her neck to see Blake’s form. Her eyes were open and unfocused, looking through ceiling. She looked tired, like she had been there for hours without sleep. Yang swung her feet out of bed and lowered them to the floor. She walked silently to Blake’s side. “Move over.” She whispered as she lifted the covers and crawled in next to Blake. Blake shifted onto her side and Yang rearranged the covers over, and pulling a pillow under her head, so that she was at eye level with Blake.
“Still not sleeping, huh?” She asked quietly, running one hand along Blake’s brow.
“No, not really.” Blake sounded wearier than anything, and there were light purple marks under her eyes. She still had frequently had nightmares when she slept, so to avoid them, she simply refused to go to sleep.
Yang slid her arm under Blake’s side and pulled her against her, her chin resting on Blake’s head. She moved gently back and forth, humming a slow melody in Blake’s ear and calmly stroking Blake’s smooth black hair that ran down her back, like a cascade of liquid obsidian. Blake’s heavy eyelids closed slowly, and her breath dropped into a slow and relaxed rhythm as she drifted off to sleep in Yang’s arms.
Yang lay still for a few minutes, enjoying the subtle smell of Blake’s lavender shampoo and the slow rise and fall of her ribs, each breath lifting Yang’s arm which lay draped over Blake’s waist. After she was certain that Blake wasn’t going to wake when she left, she carefully removed herself from the bed and padded softly to the bathroom that they shared.
She slipped out of her flannel pajamas and turned on the water, waiting in the dark until the water got hot. She preferred to shower with the lights off in the morning, she liked to shower in the dark and found the dark room combined with the warm water quite relaxing. She leaned against the cool stone wall of the shower stall, the water flowing down her head and quickly warming the wall behind her. She slid down the wall, settling in sitting position so that she partly covered the floor drain. The water rose and lapped pleasantly around her feet and hips. Before long, she drifted into a state of semi-consciousness. Her thoughts swirled about her head, like the water in the shower, and one by one slipped away until she was barely awake. †˜Wish Blake could sleep this easy’ she thought to herself as the water ran down her body.
She was pulled back to life when the door slide open and the light came on. Yang tilted her head and emptied the water from her ears, as she looked through the steamed up shower door. “Mind if I join you?” Blake asked arching her back and wiggling her ears under her bow.
“Sure babe, but just turn off the light before you get in.” Yang rubbed the opaque glass with her palm to clear it and watched silently as Blake disrobed. She watched as Blake reached up and pulled on the end of her bow letting it fall to the floor. She stepped to the door of the shower and flicked off the light. Yang’s eyes failed her for a moment as they adjusted to the darkness, but she heard the door of the shower open and close again as Blake stepped in and sat down on the ledge in the shower.
“Yang, will you wash me?” Blake asked nudging Yang’s thigh with her foot.
“Sure, change places with me.”
Blake lowered herself to the floor of the shower and Yang lifted herself to the ledge and settled herself behind Blake. She groped along the shelf above her head in the dark until her hand found shampoo and a bar of soap. She popped the cap and squeezed a liberal amount into her palm, than set about massaging Blake’s head, working the lather around her silky cats ears and through her dark locks, than pushed her forward slightly into the flow of the shower head and rinsed her hair out, leaving a heavy aroma of lavender hanging in the air.
Yang finished rinsing Blake’s hair and rested her head atop Blake’s, cupping both her hands over Blake’s. Blake wound her fingers in between Yang’s and pressed them to her mouth, kissing the back of Yang’s hand.
Yang pushed herself against the back of the ledge, and reaching down pulled Blake up onto the ledge, sitting between Yang’s legs. She wrapped her arms around Blake’s middle and pulled their bodies as close together as they could get, the sensation of having so much of their skin pressed together felt wonderful, and was only improved by the hot water flowing down on them. Yang pressed her breasts against Blake’s back, grinding them against her pronounced shoulder blades. She could feel her nipples harden as she moved against Blake, and her body grew hot as she felt blood rushing to her pelvis.
Blake leaned back her head onto Yang’s shoulder, eyes closed, and put her open lips against Yang’. Her tongue tracing the contours of Yang’s lips as her hand traced behind her along Yang’s thigh and came to rest on her peachy ass. She massaged her skin and turned her body so that their chests were pushed together. Yang kissed Blake back furiously, pulling her to her chest with as much pressure as she could.
Blake’s hand slithered down between them and probed Yang’s sex, which was already soaked from the shower, not that it would have made a difference, she was so turned that Blake’s hand was practically sucked into her. Blake twirled her fingers slowly, bringing low coos of pleasure from Yang as everything near her groin seemed to fill with warm fluid. Blake withdrew her fingers, fought by the pull of Yang’s body. As her fingers repapered from Yang’s dripping slit, it made wet sound. Yang groaned.
Blake lowered herself to the floor of the shower, positioning her body between Yang’s thighs and kissed her navel. She stuck out her tongue and traced it down Yang’s stomach to her groin, eliciting little spasms from her as Blake’s tongue tickled her. Blake slid the tip of her tongue into Yang’s slit, and flicked her tongue back and forth. Yang arched her back, pushing her hips towards Blake’s mouth, wanting more. Blake grabbed Yang by her ass, pulling her up higher, and continued eating her with more force than before. Water ran Blake’s back. It had become lukewarm over the course of their almost hour long “shower.”
“Ah-!” Yang began to cry out, but clapped a hand over her mouth to stop the sound. She pulled Blake’s head into her with more force. “Blake-, cumming.” Yang gasped. Blake’s tongue was still enclosed in her lips, and Yang curled over her head , wrapping her body around it as she came. Blake came up from between Yang’s legs, brushing strands of wet hair off her forehead.
“What time is it?” Blake asked, her cheeks flushed and her breathing slightly more erratic than usual.
Yang looked down at her watch, still breathing heavily. Her wrist brushed against her erect nipple and sent a little shock through her chest and up the back of her neck. “It’s seven forty, we’ve got fifteen minutes to class. Why?”
“Because you owe me.” Blake smiled mischievously. “We’re out of time now, but I’ll take a rain check for tonight.”
Yang giggled in a very un-Yang like fashion. “Quid pro quo doctor Lector.” She stood up and pulled Blake up with her, wrapping her arms around her waist and pulling her against her body. The water ran down their backs and legs, tickling their skin. Yang loved the contact of skin on skin, and not in an erotic way, she just liked the sensation, the together-ness of it. “You don’t need to keep track of debts with me Blakie, I’m a very generous person.”
At that moment a loud rap came from the bathroom door. There was enough natural light to see the room now, showing the contours of the counters as well as the small army of cosmetic products scattered haphazardly across it. “Blake! Blake!” It was Wiess, who apparently had just gotten up, and was none too pleased at having to wait for her shower.
“I swear to god Blake, if you’ve drained the tank again, I will kill you!” She kept pounding on the door, getting angrier every second the door remained locked. “Damn it, turn of the water and let me in!”
Yang leaned over Blake and killed the water, the lukewarm flow petering out and leaving the two girls a bit colder than they would have liked. Yang stepped out of the shower and over to the door, pulling a towel off the rack and wrapping it around herself as she went. Gently stepping over the slippery tiles between the fluffy mats on the floor, she reached the door and clicked the lock open, and stepped back.
Wiess burst through the door a moment latter, but stopped dead when she saw Yang and Blake standing next to each other, hair went and towels wrapped around themselves. Wiess’ mouth moved silently for a moment, her eyes darting between Blake, Yang, the shower, and back again. “W-w.. I’ll- w.” She stuttered for a few more seconds as her brain, still on boot up from her night’s sleep, tried to put two and two together, then decide what to do.
“You may speak, Wiess.” Yang said sarcastically, as Wiess made fish motions with her mouth.
Wiess averted her eyes, her cheeks flushed bright red. “I’llwaitoutsideuntilyou-… finish.” She backed out of door, eyes still downcast, while Blake looked at her with an embarrassed grin and Yang suppressed a fit of giggles.
“You know,” Blake said as she dried her hair and face, “There was probably a, ah, what’s the word, softer way to break this to Wiess.” She gestured between herself and Yang.
Yang dried her hair and threw it over one shoulder, and pulled the towel across her back as she spoke. “It’s not like the signs weren’t there, Ruby probably figured it out weeks ago. If she prides herself on being so smart, she shouldn’t be supplied were together.”
Blake shrugged as she tossed her pajamas into the bathrooms laundry basket and went for the door. Yang’s clothes joined the pile a moment latter, but were preceded by a basketball style shot and a resonating “GOOOOAAALLLLL!!”
Wiess had already left the room, apparently deciding that taking a shower wasn’t worth facing Blake and Yang. Ruby had just woken up, and was rubbing sleep out of her eyes as she gave the alarm clock malevolent looks that would make a seven foot linebacker cringe.
After dressing and making up their beds, the team, minus Wiess, strolled out into the corridor and to their first class of the day.
