The next morning, you snuck out of Ant's room while he was asleep and walked into the kitchen. You looked around to see nobody there, so you walked over to the refriderator. You opened the refridgerator and actually saw other food beside blood. You reached for a ham slice for a sandwich when you heard Big Bill say,"Good morning, Angel." He was standing right behind you and you jumped, startled.
"Oh...uh...good morning, Big...I mean Mister Bill,"you said and gulped. "You wanting a sandwich,"he asked and grabbed bread and some ham. "Mustard, please,"you asked, suprised you even knew what that was without looking. He grabbed that as well and started to the table to make the sandwich. While making the sandwich, you peered at him closely. He had light brown hair and dark brown eyes.
He always had a look of seriousness on his face and it kind of scared you when he looked at you as he gave you your sandwich. You looked at his hand that was handing the sandwich to you and saw that same mark everyone had on their wrist. You took a bite out of the sandwich and asked,"So does everybody have that tattoo?" He laughed,"At one point they do. Except for royalty, royalty and the extremely powerful don't ever get that mark."
"What happened to your owner,"you asked curiously. "Still alive,"he said,"There's always a time when you are discharged from having an owner, when you no longer need one. I don't know about Ant though, he's always disobediant." You smirked and Big Bill smiled back. "So what are you, vampire or human,"he asked that familiar question. You looked at him and decided to test it.
"What do I look like,"you asked as if it was common sense to know the difference. "Well, except for that tan you look like a vampire, but there are those rare humans,"Big Bill answered and opened the refridgerator to get some blood. You gave a weird look at the blood and he laughed,"Human, I now know." You smirked, defeated,"human, indeed."
There was a moment of silence and you suddenly said,"Ant told me there is a way of leaving this world to go to Earth." Big Bill peered at you,"And...?" You shrugged,"It's not like I want to go back, just...how do they travel from one world to another?" After a moment, he said,"I guess it won't hurt to tell. They use a portal, only special vampires are aloud to."
You stared a moment and he went on,"The population needs to stay at one spot so that this world doesn't become overcrowded. We only go to Earth for blood and for humans, but everybody gets a chance to go the Earth if they want to. The only thing is, if they go to Earth for a human, they have to take a regular vampire with them...a person who'll claim the human as their's to own."
You took a bite out of the sandwich and listened closely to each word he said. "Then when that human is taken here, they are given the mark the moment they arrive by their owner. That's how we make sure the population is one. Also there is a population count every once in a while that scans the marks, but otherwise, that's it. Eventually, that human is turned into a vampire...it's just the way here, in the vampire world,"he finished.
You had stopped eating, though. He was telling you that you would be turned into a vampire! No, no, you didn't want that, no! You started choking on the bite of sandwich that was in your mouth. Big Bill smacked your back and kept you from choking on it. "Woah, calm down, Angel,"he said and just then Ant walked in. He saw Big Bill with his hand on your back and you bent over, recovering from choking.
Ant looked from Bill to you and back. Then he said,"What do you think you're doing?" Big Bill buffed up and said,"Don't talk to me that way, boy." "What were you doing to her,"Ant demanded an answer. You then said,"Ant, he was just..." Ant interupted you,"You keep your mouth shut!" You bit your bottom lip and tears started building in your eyes. "You can't talk to her that way, boy! She's not your pet,"Big Bill yelled at Ant.
Suddenly, you're mind raced. *He's going to punish me for this.*you thought in fear as Ant got punched in the face. You scooted back in the chair and raced out of the room. Before Ant could find you, you jumped in a nearby bush and watched him run out of the house. He looked down both ends of the road. Then he took off towards the bus stop.
You jumped up and went the opposite direction. After a while, you saw a big building that looked like a resturant. You reached in your pocket to see left over money from what Ant gave you at the mall. A big, mischief grin appeared on your face and you walked towards the resturant. When you reached the front of the building, you suddenly ran into somebody, this repelled you backward, but that person grabbed your arms to steady you.
You blinked to bring back your surroundings, but your eyes focused on the man steadying you. It was the same man you ran into at the mall, who had black hair and black eyes that radiated power and an air of order and control. The breath was taken out of you as you both stared at each other. "Are you okay,"he asked, once again at unease. "If I answer that, will you say good and just walk off,"you asked breathlessly.
There was an awkward silence then. But then, the man smiled,"I'm not really busy right now." A girl behind him then said,"But sir, the order of.." She was silenced by the hand of the man. "Later, Tilly,"he said,"I'm busy right now." Tilly looked harrassed as she walked away annoyed. The man shrugged and said,"Just my assistant." You felt so helpless as you just smiled back.
"My name's...uh...it's...um...oh, my name's Torence,"he told you,"Um..what's your's?" He seemed nervous, as if intimatated by you and you said whistfully,"My name's Angel." He stared into your eyes and said,"Angel, really?" There was a silence, and all the sudden, Torence remembered that he was holding your arms still and let go of you. "Sorry,"he said and you replied,"It's okay."
He gestured towards the resturant unsurely and said,"Would you like to...uh..you know.." You got the picture quickly and nodded,"Oh yes, sure." Then you both laughed nervously and he opened the door,"Come on in." You walked into the resturant and stared in awe. It was so fancy! Torence walked to the entrance man and muttered something. The man widened his eyes and curtsied as he said,"This way, M'lord and Lady."
The moment you walked through the front door into your castle, everyone started bowing and asking to assist you. You ignored them. Instead you walked on towards your office. You had been Ruler of vampires for maybe a year now, but it everybody said it must have been more. Really, they say that because your father gave orders and suggested ideas that came out of your mouth and brain.
You could have started ruling at age eight. When you walked into your office, there was nobody in there. You turned annoyed towards your assistant,"Where is he?" She gulped and said,"Who, Lord Sinbled?" You waited a moment, trying to calm down, not letting your anger out. "Alexander, that's who, the newest trainee...ALEXANDER,"you bellowed angrily. You had needed him to stay here, so you could talk to him, teach him.
The woman started looking at notes and said,"Hold on a minute." Then she turned and started talking rapidly. "See if anybody has seen Alexander,"she ordered and a servant ran off. It wasn't long ago that you had made a trip to Earth. You spotted Alexander, a bored human, who you found out was head-strong and had a perfect body for becoming a Vampire Warrior. So you had taken him back here.
Except he was always trying to get away, always. Suddenly, your assistant said,"A person says that he ran off to the mall." You thought for a moment,"What would a guy like him be doing at a mall?" Everybody around you shrugged, thinking the same thing. "Well, I'll go get him. He can't be running off like this,"you said and your assistant decided to tag along. Nobody else was aloud to.
Even though alot of orders and ideas were yours, you didn't come up with some of them. Such as the population count. That's been here for who knows how long. But you enforced it proudly. It kept Plynia from overcrowding and kept people in order most of the time. And that day, you went to Mildred Mall to find Alexander, who no doubt would be trying to pick up a girl or something.
That was the day you first saw her. First of all, lately people have been bugging you to get a woman so that you could have an heir. But you didn't feel up to this because all the women here just wanted your money and they wanted the title as Queen. In fact, as you walked into the mall, all those women who saw you started applying makeup and winking and all that stupid stuff women do.
It may get to other men, but never had you fallen in love with a woman. As for an heir, you were thinking of finding the dumbest prettiest girl to sleep with. Then she'd have a baby, but wouldn't be counted on for action concerning ruling this world. Because she'd be so dumb. But you had thought you'd spotted Alexander and started towards him when you accidently ran into a woman.
"Shit,"you muttered, this is the chance women always wait for. You had looked around quickly and looked at the girl to see that she must have hit her head pretty hard on that floor. She wasn't getting up. You had bent down and quickly healed her head. She was human, then. When she opened her eyes, you had froze. Her blonde hair seemed to make her glow and her blue eyes were giving off energy. She was extremly beautiful.
You stuck out your hand and she took it. Her hand was so fragile and you knew if you squeezed, it wouldn't take much to break it. You helped her up and suddenly felt weird. You were the ruler, you couldn't be falling for just some human in this world. "Are you all right, human,"you asked nervously. She had hesitated and said,"I guess." "Good,"you said and took off before she could do any damage.
You had found Alexander in the mall and had yelled at him to go back to the castle. He grumbled and headed off towards the castle. Meanwhile, you went to one of the motels to stay the night in town. The next morning, Tilly, your assistant, said that we needed to talk about the order of the people. You decided to walk to the castle.
While walking, you said to Tilly,"We'll see about adding more laws." "But what about the order, this place is going to go down in chaos if we don't have strict control over the citizens,"Tilly said, and you turned to look ahead of you. Suddenly, you ran into another person, but this time you grabbed their arms before letting them fall. You were shocked to see her again. You stared at her, amazed that you had seen her two days in a roll.
"Are you okay,"you had asked, feeling that weird feeling again. "If I answer that, will you say good and just walk off,"she had asked. You were shocked that anyone would just talk like that out of nowhere, mocking the Ruler of Vampires. But this brought another amazing thought to your mind. She must not know that your the Ruler, probally new here. You had smiled then, forgetting the reason why you were even out here.
"I'm not busy right now,"you told her for an excuse to stay in her presence even longer. Tilly tried to ruin the moment by saying,"But sir, the order of..." You silenced her, very annoyed. "Later, Tilly,"you said calmly, wanting to yell at her that she's fired,"I'm busy right now." When she walked away, the girl in front of you was looking confused so you shrugged and said,"Just my assistant."
She had smiled then, and it radiated her face like an Angel. "My name's...uh...it's...um...,"You had forgotten your name! "Oh, my name's Torence,"so much for being smooth,"Um...what's your's?" You felt like you were losing her, but you couldn't. She could be the next Queen, the mother of my child. "My name's Angel,"she told you and you thought she was kidding. Too ironic,"Angel, really?"
You were having trouble breathing, but silenced that problem. Then you noticed you were still holding her and let go quickly. "Sorry,"you had said, feeling so stupid. "It's okay,"she replied, that meant you hadn't lost her completely. You gestured to the resturant that was right there and said,"Would you like to...uh...you know..." What if she denied, or called you stupid? "Oh yes, sure,"she said and you both had laughed.
You opened the door, it was only polite,"Come on in." Oh that was so inviting. But she walked in and looked suprised by how fancy it was or something. You had leaned to the entrance man and said,"Table for your Ruler and his date." The man had widened his eyes as they all do and curtsied as he said,"This way, M'lord and Lady." You followed the seater with Angel close behind you.
You both were seated and you turned and stared at Angel. What an Angel she really was. She noticed you staring at her and smiled nervously. Then she started talking about Plynia. You didn't mind her talking about anything at all, just as long as she was talking. You listened carefully, pitching in your own likes and dislikes about the subject, but never hinting that you were Lord Sinbled, ruler of Vampires.
Suddenly, Tilly ran into the resturant and over to you. "Sir, sir, there is an emergency,"Tilly stated shortly. "How bad is it,"you asked, annoyed. Tilly looked over at Angel as if she didn't want her to hear anything and you said to Angel,"Please excuse me. I'll be back." Then you got up and walked off with Tilly. "A boy vampire was killed over night, nobody knows who did it. That means the population is down one count,"Tilly whispered.
"We'll just go to Earth and get another one,"You whispered back, looking towards Angel. Angel smiled and you waved stupidly at her. Tilly smacked your arm to get your attention. "You've got to go to the castle to sort this all out. They won't listen to me! Plus, what about Alexander? You need to help him on his way to becoming a warrior of Plynia,"Tilly whispered frustrated. You thought a moment, then whispered in defeat,"Fine, let me just tell Angel that I'm leaving."
Tilly agreed and you walked over to Angel. "Ummm..,"you started, but she said,"Emergency?" You nodded,"I guess I'll see you later." She smiled at you,"Ok." Then you said goodbye and left the resturant. You were halfway to the castle in your car when you realized that you hadn't given any contact details to Angel. She didn't give any to you, too. You knew by now that she'd have left the resturant, so you didn't stop the car.
When you got in the castle, you yelled at the population control men and told them just to schedule a time to go to Earth to get a human. They agreed and quickly ran off with that command. Then you turned to Alexander who had sandy blonde hair and sharp blue vampire's eyes. "Are you ready to train,"you asked, smiling. Alexander froze and said,"Woah, I'm going to train with you?"
You nodded,"Now put your dukes up." Alexander put his fists up in a fighting stanza and you threw a punch at him. You hit him square in the nose. He fell to the ground. Then you said,"Oh, you'll get over it, get up!" Alexander got up without healing his now broken nose. He looked angry now, but you didn't care. You just threw another punch.
You were walking back towards Ant's house. You had watched Torence leave before you realized the only way you would see him again is if you two happened to run into each other. You seemed to be in a dream state as you walked into Ant's house. You didn't even realize that Big Bill's car was gone. Then suddenly, Ant was in your face, glaring at you. "Where'd you go,"Ant said in a strained voice.
You gulped and said,"Uh, nowhere..." Then Ant yelled,"You could have been hurt! Who knows who you could have run into? What if you had ran into Lord Sinbled? He could have killed you! Anybody could have killed you!" You looked at the ground and muttered,"Sorry." Ant fumed for a moment as you kept staring at the ground. "Are you hungry,"he asked and you said,"I already ate."
"Then let's go to school,"Ant said and grabbed your arm. "What,"you asked in fear. Ant turned and glared at you,"School. I got all the stuff you need, you have you're fake owner and fake name." Then he dragged you into the living room and grabbed a new back pack. "Come on, quick lagging. Move it,"Ant ordered and you quickly grabbed the bag. Then you followed Ant to the school.
You walked into the office, where a female vampire asked you you're name. Ant then said,"Angel Lovett, she was applied last night." The vampire searched through the computer untill she said,"Oh, Miss Lovett, you'll be going to Mrs. Olibey." Suddenly Ant said,"No, I want her applied into Mr. Young's class, her owner said so last night." The woman glared at Ant and said,"Well, I had a talk with Miss Lovett's owner and he said he didn't care which class she went to."
Ant seemed shocked, this meant the woman called Carlton Milldred, but of course he said he didn't care. He didn't even know who you were! "Now, move along,"the woman snapped at you both. Ant turned and glared at you as if it was your fault, but you ignored him and turned to the woman,"Where is Mrs. Olibey's class?" "Fourth door on the left down the hall,"the woman said, pointing.
You shrugged at Ant and started to walk off. Once you were clear from the woman, Ant grabbed you and pulled you into a closet. "What are you doing,"you asked in fear. "Shutup,"he growled and you bit your lip. "Don't mess up with Mrs. Olibey, she likes to get close to her kids. Don't let her, got me,"Ant asked quickly. When you didn't answer, Ant forced out your arm. He lifted his hand.
You didn't want to see what happened next, so you barely yelled,"YES! Yes, I got it!" Then Ant dropped your arm and said,"Good." You rubbed your arm as he left you alone in the closet. After a moment, you wiped the tears from your cheek and walked out of the closet as well. Then you went down the hall and walked into the fourth door on the left. Once you walked in, you saw all the vampires in this class seemed to be alittle younger than you.
"You must be Angel,"a woman, Mrs. Olibey you guessed, said. You were about to say yes, but your mouth was too dry. So you nodded instead. "Come on in,"she said and you walked into the room just enough to shut the door. Mrs. Olibey then said,"Everybody, say hello to Angel Lovett." Almost everyone mummbled a hello and Mrs. Olibey smirked at them,"Silly kids." Then she looked closely at you.
"Dear, you look like you've been crying,"Mrs. Olibey said and looked down. She walked up to you,"It's ok, child, you'll get used to it here." Then you looked at her and she smiled,"Besides, it isn't THAT bad here!" You couldn't help, but smile. "Now, go sit behind....Satana,"Mrs. Olibey said, but she said doubtfully, as if she was making a mistake and knew it. You turned in curiousity to the girl who yelled,"Yep, Satana, that's me."
She was wearing black...black...and more black. Her hair was black and had blood red highlights in it. Her eyes were greyish blue, but still sharp as all the vampires. Her skin was pale like vampires, but it seemed more pale than usual and she had an air of strength and independence about her. You could swear that if you two were standing next to each other, there wouldn't be one person to tell at least one comparison between you two.
You looked back at Mrs. Olibey. She nodded and suddenly Satana was in front of you. "What, am I too much of a freak for you to sit behind,"Satana asked and you gulped,"Uh..no?" She just stared at you and then muttered,"Goody good." Then she turned and walked off to her seat. "Go sit down, Angel,"Mrs. Olibey said softly and watched as you sat down behind Satana. She pratically ignored you, but you were fine with that.
Mrs. Olibey started talking about vampire history. You took notes carefully, paying attention expecially. Then Mrs. Olibey said,"Ok, pair with your partner and do this worksheet. The answers are in the book. Except, Satana, the number is even now, so pair up with Angel this time."
Satana sighed and turned her desk around and stared at you with a blank expression as you both were handed a worksheet. "Number one,"Satana said loudly,"Who was the vampire who invented the population account? The answer is Lord Charles L. Sinbled." "Silently, Satana,"Mrs. Olibey ordered as the class enveloped in snickers, writing down the answer to number one. Satana then muttered,"Charles Sinbled is a fucking lunatic who likes controlling everything, including the population."
You couldn't help but smirk at this and Satana caught it. "What are you smiling about,"Satana asked louded and you quickly wiped the smirk from your face. "Nothing,"you said quickly and Satana muttered,"Sure, Miss Snob." You worked silently and suddenly, Satana said,"What did you get for number six?" You started biting your bottom lip and she leaned forward and smack your mouth.
Tears came to your eyes and she said,"Don't bite your lip like that. It already has scar tissue on it. Stressed lately?" You stopped biting your lip and didn't answer. Satana leaned forward and whispered,"It's ok, I understand. This world fucks me up, too. Can't wait untill I ditch. I'm going to apply for a slave and once we go up there to Earth, I'm not coming back." You listened to her and she leaned back in her chair.
"Lunch,"Mrs. Olibey said as a bell went off. Satana stood up, but you just sat there. Satana turned to you and looked to be thinking of something. "Come on with me then, Angel,"She said as if she didn't want to, but felt she should. You stood up and followed her to the lunch room. It was a fairly large cafeteria, but you also had the choice of going outside. Satana went through the lunch line with you, not buying anything, but showing you what to do.
Then, when you had your lunch, she led you outside. You both sat under a tree and you started eating your lunch while Satana started drinking from a bottle and eating what looked like cookies and chips. You traded with her a little bit. You were enjoying yourself. Then someone came up from around the tree without you or Satana noticing and grabbed you by the arm, making you dump all your food to the ground.
"Why didn't you look for me,"Ant yelled at you. His nails dug into your arm as you said,"I didn't mean--" But you were yanked out of Ant's hands and thrown back. Satana had pushed you behind her and she got in Ant's face. "Who the fuck you think you are,"she growled at him. He glared back,"This has nothing to do with you, Satana." "Oh, really,"she said,"Are you her man?" But before he could answer, she turned to you.
"Is he your man, your boyfriend,"she asked you. You shook your head no in fear, not really knowing what that was. She turned to Ant,"She ain't your girl, so you pull up your pants and haul ass before I shove your **** ** **** *** *** **** ** ** ****!" Ant then yelled,"She's mine. I found her, she's mine!"
Satana shoved Ant and said,"What do you think this is?! Finder's keeper, Loser's weeper?! Well, sorry to burst your bubble...well, not sorry, but this is REAL LIFE, you IDIOT! Angel isn't just some pencil you found on the ground!" "She'd be dead if it wasn't for me,"Ant yelled in her face. He looked ready to punch Satana. "F*ck that!" Then Satana attacked Ant instead. You were frozen where you were.
First, Satana was on top of Ant, pulling his hair and pulling hard on his cheek. Then Ant was on top of her, punching her in her face. You ran over to get Ant off her, but he turned and you saw his fist flying at your face. You felt the colliding of his fist and your nose and then there was blackness. You kind of welcomed it, as if something was calling for you and waiting for you to come back to them.
There was a flash of memory, a feeling of wanting that came from nowhere. Wanting...something...wanting...life?...to be...something...to be a... And suddenly, your eyes snapped open and you could feel the wanting that came from nowhere. The wanting to be something, to live as something. But you couldn't quite grasp it. "Miss Lovett, can you see me,"you heard someone ask.
Then you saw a woman's face whom you've never seen before. "Who're you,"you asked in a horsed voice. "Nurse,"the woman said and then she asked,"How many fingers am I holding up?" You looked at her hand, holding up all her fingers. "Five,"you said. "Four and a thumb,"the nurse joked and you smiled. "Well, you recieved quite a hit. Usually it wouldn't be much, but that was a strong vampire that used alot of his strength in that punch,"the nurse said.
"Not to mention you are human, too,"the nurse sighed and rubbed back your hair. "I can't see why someone would want to hurt such a beautiful teenage girl, what did you do,"the nurse asked you curiously. "I tried to get him off my friend,"you said sadly, sitting up. You reached for your nose to see that it was healed. "How long was I out,"you asked her. "Almost two hours,"the nurse stated and got up.
"If you're feeling ok, you can go back to your class,"she said and before she walked out you asked her a question. "What happened to Satana and Ant?" The nurse looked back,"They've already recieved their punishment. Try not to ask them any questions though, they might not feel up to it." You heard the nurse mutter,"This world is based on peace and population. Fighting will not be tolerated,"before she left the room.
You quickly got up and ran through the halls of the school. You guessed you got lost because you turned down a hall and there was Ant. He was walking towards you, but it took him a moment to recognize that you were in that hall. Then he realized who you were and you turned, skidded, then ran down a different hallway. You just reached your room door and swung it open.
Ant was right there, but he quickly walked off as you struggled into the room. You took a deep breath, then looked at Mrs. Olibey and smiled. "Hello,"you said and quickly walked to your desk. When Mrs. Olibey went back to teaching, you leaned forward to Satana and said,"Thank you for helping me." She turned and you saw the red in her eyes, not as if she'd been crying, but as if she was extremely tired.
"Are you alright,"you gasped and she just blinked and turned around. You could hear the nurse saying that they had been punished, don't ask questions, and that they wouldn't feel up to answering them. You gulped and sat back in your seat. What was this punishment they put on people who break rules? What was going to happen when you got out of school? Were you ever going to get your memory back?
The end of the day bell rang, but you just stayed seated as everyone packed their bags and walked out of the building. After a moment, you decided you were fighting a losing battle so you stood up and started to leave the room. Once you walked out into the hall, you looked both ways to see noone left in the school. You felt weird being in an empty building. So you started for the exit.
You walked out the exit while looking back at the empty hall. Suddenly, someone grabbed your arm and threw you roughly into the school alley. You landed on your back and coughed, having the wind knocked out of you. Then you gasped for air as Ant glared at you furiously. You started crawling backwards in painful stretches in fear. Ant walked over to you and grabbed you by your hair.
He pulled you up and slammed you against the wall. Stars appeared in your eyes when the back of your head made contact with the wall. Before you could recover, Ant was smacking your face and then he was snatching it in his hands and pressing your head against the wall. "Look at me,"Ant growled, but you couldn't really see that well. You were blinking in pain, trying to catch focus as Ant talked.
"So you thought you'd get yourself a body gaurd while you're here, huh,"Ant asked angrily,"Thought you'd find someone else to be with instead of your owner." You coughed and said,"Hurry up and kill me already." This recieved you a punch in the side of your face. Tears popped into your eyes as your head was slammed back. Then you could taste blood. Something snapped.
You didn't mean that snap of bones or snapping your fingers. Literally, you heard some mental noise crack in your head, as if some kind of tendon had stretched to its limit. You turned and glared at Ant. Then you shoved him hard against his chest. He wasn't expecting it, so he flew backward. "I HATE YOU,"you screeched and turned and ran. You heard Ant scramble up and start after you, so you ran faster.
At this moment, you were crying extremely hard, afraid you were definitly going to die. Suddenly, just as you turned a corner, you ran into someone, but instead of falling backward you were pulled into a door that was right beside you. You heard Ant turn the corner, run alittle ways, hesitate as he looked around, then run the opposite direction. You gulped as you turned to see who it was that had helped you.
You gasped in suprise as you saw Torence peering at you. "What's wrong,"he asked in a voice that said he was about to kill someone. You shook your head,"It's nothing...just some kids picking on a human." Torence rubbed his finger under your eye to wipe away your tears, but his finger traced over a tender spot on your cheek where Ant had punched you and you winced. Torence looked angry as he looked at the bruise forming on your cheek.
"They hit you too,"he said furiously and it reminded you of Ant about to punish you. You felt fear flash through your body and bit your bottom lip and nodded. This softened Torence and he said,"You'll be ok, nobody is going to hurt you when I'm around." You stopped biting your lip and smiled instead,"Have you noticed that we keep running into each other, literally?" This caused Torence to smirk.
"I'm starting to see the pattern. Anyways, I was just heading to the mall. Would you like to come with me,"Torence asked nervously. You froze, thinking of what happened last time. Torence, seeing this, then said,"Don't worry about any vampire kids picking on you. I'll be with you, so if they come back I show them something they aren't going to like." You relaxed slightly and Torence said,"Wait a minute."
He stuck his head out of the door and looked both ways. Then he pulled his head back in,"Coast is clear it seems. So let's go." "Ok,"you said, but didn't move. Torence held out his hand to you and you just looked at it. Then you placed your hand in his and he helped you out of the door and into the sidewalk. You both walked to a bus stop and Torence paid for two tickets to the area around the mall.
You sat by the window and Torence looked around before he sat down. He seemed to be worried about something, but you didn't ask questions. Once you both got to the mall, you hesitated before entering. "It's alright, nothing bad is going to happen,"Torence stated, suddenly unpatient. You didn't say a word and didn't move so Torence said,"What? What could possibly be so wrong that you won't go into a mall?!"
You winced and bit your lip again. Then you prepared yourself to be hit again. Torence saw the change in your posture and stopped talking, seeming to try to figure out what your face was saying. He walked over to you and said,"Trust me, alright? I'm not going to hurt you nor am I going to let anyone hurt you. So trust me." You paused for a moment, then nodded,"All right."
Then he lead you into the mall. "I'm just buying some new shoes for my trainee. He's sloppy, that boy,"Torence told you in distaste. You smirked at this and asked,"What's his name?" Torence smiled back and said,"Alexander Miller, most annoying trainee into a warrior ever." You froze in the middle of the mall. "What,"Torence asked, no longer smiling. You mouthed the name,"Alexander Miller."
It struck something, as if you heard it before. But maybe Torence had mentioned him before. "I think I've heard of Alexander Miller before,"you told Torence. He thought for a moment,"I must have said his name when we talked at that resturant." You nodded and smiled as Torence searched for shoes. That must have been it. You've never heard of that name before anyways.
While Torence was buying the shoes, you heard someone whisper something roughly, kind of angrily. You turned your head and actually looked at everyone in the mall. They were all looking at you in awe. You quickly looked down at yourself as if checking to see if something was on your clothes, maybe a hole or something. You bent backwards to look at your butt, but there was nothing. Torence saw your trick and laughed,"What are you doing?"
You smiled brightly at him and said,"Just checkin to see if everything is there...why is everyone looking at me?" You frowned and looked at the people who were whispering to each other and pointing in awe. Torence was suddenly nervous and he said,"I don't know. Uh..I've got the shoes so let's go." And before you could stall, he grabbed your hand and headed to the elevator since you were on the fifth floor.
When you both walked into the elevator, everyone else walked out as if they weren't worthy to be in there with you. You gulped and looked awkwardly at Torence. He just shrugged as the door closed. You both walked out of the mall, but just the second you both walked out into the sidewalk, it started raining! You spreaded your hands and looked at the water dripping onto your skin. "My body is crying,"you said in fear.
"What,"Torence asked in confusion,"It's raining." You then felt stupid,"Oh." Then Torence offered you his jacket to cover you from the rain. You then said before he gave it to you,"It's...wow." You spreaded your arms and twirled around, feeling the raindrops trickle on your skin. Then you put your face upward and felt the rain drip onto your cheek, forhead, nose, ect. You opened your eyes and one drop landed right in between your eye and nose.
You weren't paying attention and suddenly twirled right into Torence. He wrapped his arms around you to keep you from falling and you smiled at him. The raindrop trickled down your cheek like a tear. "You act like you've never seen rain before,"Torence said. You suddenly realized how stupid you must look,"Uh...I like rain?" Then something unexpected happened. Torence leaned forward and placed his lips softly on yours.
It was like electricity shocked from his lips to yours and you felt melted in his arms. You closed your eyes and forgot about where you were. You forgot everything, ha like you needed that with your amnesia. Torence pulled back suddenly and said in panic,"Oh God, I've got to go." And with that, he let go of you and you said,"What, wait!" But Torence was already gone.
You traced your finger along your lip, still feeling his lips on yours. Then you looked at your wrist to see that half of the pen markings were gone because of the rain. You turned and ran back towards Ant's house, forgetting that you were running from him in the first place. You ran through the front door and just before you were at the stairway, Big Bill appeared and said,"Woah, what are you doing? Why are you wet?!"
You raised your finger to say something,"Uh...well...umm...I...uh..." Then you turned and ran through the door and down the stairway, slamming into Ant's room. Before you knew what was happening, Ant smacked you so hard across the face that you fell, slamming your temple on your head against the corner of Ant's desk, to the floor. Then you were enveloped in blackness.
"I don't care what you do, Alex, but whatever you do, don't go near the icecream parlor tonight!"
"What,"you heard. You groaned and blinked, trying to focus on your surrounding. "Huh,"you asked in confusion. You turned and saw Ant sitting on the edge of his bed, which you were laying on. "What did you say,"Ant asked you boredly. "I said something,"you asked, still confused. "Nevermind,"Ant replied annoyed.
You suddenly remembered running from Ant, kissing Torence, then running to this room to be slammed into the corner of a desk. You gulped and said,"You hit me." Ant shrugged,"You needed to be punished. Running away like that..." Tears sprang to your eyes and you said,"I thought you were going to kill me." Ant didn't reply and you started to cry. "Don't do it,"Ant threatened, looking upward at the ceiling.
But tears started pouring down your eyes and Ant growled,"Stop it, now." You sobbed all out. Ant crawled on top of you and whispered desperately,"Dry it up or you're dead!" But the pain that was now tearing up your arms and legs because of Ant's pressure. So you just cried harder. Ant groaned angrily and pulled out the pillow under your head. He lifted it above your head and you closed your eyes, still crying.
The next thing you knew, the pillow was being pressed against your face. You could breathe! You reached up blindly and found Ant's upper arms. You started clawing at them, struggling for air, for life. At one point, two nails snapped off and you would have screamed if it wasn't for the pillow. Instead, you stopped struggling and your hands slid down Ant's arms as you fell once again into darkness.
