Dreams

A poem that I held up for a while to post since it sounds kinda corny

Spoiler:
[size=14]I don't know what I'm searching for the rest of my life
Only vague delusions that keep on coming and going
I walked back and forth, rise and fall as the time goes
Yet why can't I still find what am I looking for?
My dreams, I don't want them to be the same as other people
It must be a dream that only me possess

Times gone by and I've reached adulthood
Yet still I act so childish, without any rational thinking
I keep forcing my selfish dreams and beliefs to everyone
Never once I think of my actions as wrong
But soon I realized my greatest mistake
I trampled on their dreams, all of the people who support me
They who had high hopes of me, they have to give it up
Live in despair, without any expectations, it's only a dream
A dream that will never come true

I realized it's not my dream that I've been fighting for
There's nothing I've ever desired, no particular thing
Nothing to fight for, no reason to fight
Such a weak resolve that made me lose so easily
Later I found out, before it's too late
What my true desire is

I just wanted to be different from the other people
Taking the path no one else will ever take
I embark on a journey to the unknown place
That's life for me right now, a meaningful life

It's an adventure, it's exciting
I'll keep on going until my last breath[/h]

Poem-ing is not my strong point ..
but at least .. i can find something here ..

First and foremost .. What i get from reading it more than 12 times ..
Spoiler:
is it about the one who wants to be diff .. and he/she choose the path where no one can follow his/her path .. kinda remind me about Haruhi
even it's hard nor impossible to accomplish .. the one still try to chase what he/she desire and take it as interesting/funny steps because it was diff from other and take life as an adventure which can still "continue" or "game over" as his/her desire


quite cheesy ... but i like the point here ..

One that kinda bug me is ..
you look like talking .. not poem-ing ..
i think it will be better if you use analogy or ambiguous words for poem :p

A nice poem HT-san~
even i didn't too understand about poem...~

but an image which flashed in my mind is image of Archer from F/SN~
about a boy who didn't have a dream and take other dream for himself~
and later he disappointed with his own action...
but in the end of your poem is good...
he realize his own dream... and enjoy the life he have~
it's not easy to do that~ very... very hard~
