I used (...) for scene changes, because I wasn't sure what I should use in this particular story. This chapter's small because I drew a blank after this point, and I'm currently trying to think up good stories for the diary.

Chaper 1: The Thunderstorm
---
"Good Morning, Class."
"Good Morning, Sensei!"
"Shut up, Virgin!"
Class 4-1's morning greeting was complete (Complete with Kuro's loving name for Aoki-Sensei,) so the day was now ready to begin.
"Kagami, Kuro."
"Here …"
"Usa, Mimi."
"Here!"
Aoki paused for a moment before reading the next name. He was tired this morning, and really didn't want to deal with her, but … It was his job.
"Kokonoe, Rin."
"Here, Sensei! Right down here!" A small girl's voice rang out. Aoki paused, feeling something tugging on his pant leg. He looked down in horror, seeing Rin's head looking up at him from right between his knees. She winked at him, licking her lips. "Are you nervous, Sensei?" Aoki's eye twitched as he saw the girl's sly expression.
" … KOKONOE !"
After finally getting Rin to settle down, class had begun. It was a normal day afterwards - Lunch time came and went as usual, no real problems. Even Rin had kept calm for the most part, which was a nice surprise. The children all stood as the day's final bell rang. Aoki stood at the door, giving each student a nod as they left.
"Bye, Sensei!"
"See you tomorrow!"
And just like that, the Classroom was empty. Aoki breathed a sigh of relief as he sat at his desk, grabbing a pen and pulling a stack of worksheets closer. For some strange but nice reason, the kids had been doing a lot better with their work than usual. The final paper hit the stack, and everything was graded - He could finally go home. But something was strange … As if something was missing from his evening grading ritual. But what was it …?
"Hey there, Sensei."
Aoki sighed, scooting back from the desk and looking down, immediately knowing where the girl was hiding.
"Kokonoe, get out of there and go home. It's late." He said, Rin not looking too happy at all. She crawled out from the desk, standing up and forcing a peck on the man's cheek, causing him to blush lightly. He gave her another stern look, pointing to the door. "Kokonoe, go home. Now."
"Fine … I suppose we'll just meet at your apartment, it's been soooo long …" Rin said as she left, winking at him. He had no idea at all what she meant by that, but it didn't matter. She was gone.
"Finally …"
(…)
"Rin-chan, where were you?"
"Yeah, we waited forever! What's so great about that Virgin?!"
Mimi and Kuro had been waiting by the school's door for Rin, and they must've been there quite a few hours as the sun was starting to set. Rin smiled, hugging Kuro as she walked outside, making the small girl's face go completely red.
"Everything's so great about him, Kuro-chan … Everything." She said. Mimi forced a smile, knowing how Kuro must be feeling during this hug, and Kuro couldn't move a muscle.
"I … Um … Okay." Kuro stammered as Rin let go. "L-Let's go home." She said, turning and walking off, Rin and Mimi following. Mimi turned to Rin as the three walked.
"Rin-chan, what do you and Sensei do when you visit him after school?"
Kuro froze. Rin shook her head, laughing.
"Nothing, Mimi-chan ..." She replied.
Kuro sighed in relief at her words.
(….)
The door slammed shut as Aoki turned to make his way down the hallway. He sighed as he made his way out, seeing the sun was completely gone.
"It seems I get no time alone anymore, between work and Kokonoe never going away …" He thought as he made his way to the subway. "I know her pervert of a 'brother' doesn't mind how she is, but I wonder what her mother would think."
(….)
"Rin, I'm home!" The door opened, Reiji stepping inside, holding a soaking wet umbrella as water dripped from his hair. It was storming wildly outside - The rain was hitting the roof hard, almost like it could rip right through it.
"Hi, Reiji!" Rin yelled, running into the room and hugging the boy tight. Reiji smiled, patting her on the head. "I already made you dinner!" Rin said, looking up at him, smiling.
"Oh, is that so?" He said as Rin released her grip. "I thought it was my turn to cook tonight." He smiled, sitting down at the table. Rin carried a plate over, setting it in front of him.
"You always say it's your turn! I wanted to cook once in a while." Rin said, hugging the boy again. Reiji blushed slightly, running his fingers through the girl's long hair.
BOOM! Thunder cracked. Rin screamed and quickly dove into Reiji's arms, knocking him and the chair he was in down to the floor. He held the girl close to him, smiling as she cuddled up close.
"Aki didn't like storms, either …" He said, Rin looking up at him.
"She didn't? Mom was afraid of stuff?" She asked, looking very curious. Reiji laughed lightly, petting the girl.
"Well of course, she was human, after all." He replied. Rin sat up, looking at him.
"Tell me more about Mom, Reiji-" She was cut off by the power going out. The two both stared at each other in the darkness for a few seconds before Reiji found a flashlight.
"I'll tell you anything else you want to know after your bath. You stay here, and I'll get the water ready." He said, handing her the flashlight. "Don't move, I don't want you getting hurt." Rin nodded as he stood to leave.
Of course, Rin didn't listen and stood up to follow him. But on her way, she walked into something and fell hard - The flashlight revealed it was the stand with her Mom's urn and picture. But there was something else on the bottom shelf … A book?
Rin reached down, picking it up and flipping it open, holding the light to the first page.
"Diary of Kokonoe Aki"
She never knew that her Mother kept a Diary, and from the look of the handwriting, it must've been kept way back when she was Rin's age. Would Reiji want her looking through this?
Did she care? Not really.
She put the light to the page once more, starting to read.
"Dear Diary …"

VERY short, but I just want opinions. What do you guys think? Acceptable start? Should I go on?
