ya... ¬.¬ got a random short story in my head... just wanted to post it cause i feel lazy to keep it in my files @_@
here it is:
Somewhere in a quiet park during a late night in early autumn, a young man is alone, standing at a railing. He stares silently at the view he is presented, a view of beauty. He says nothing, only stares silently motionless. Minutes pass, and still the man stares in silence. Suddenly a noise breaks that silence...'h...elo...a....ny wo.....ne hear ..ti.s....fi....nal coun.....down will star.....t in........three minut...z.....eva.....immedia....tly......i repeat....'
The man listens to the crackling noise from a radio he placed on a small desk beside him. next to it is...a slice of cake, strawberry with small decorations. after a minute or so, the man then grabs the cake and carries it over the railing. He then pulls a plastic fork from his jean pocket and slowly cuts a bit of the cake. He then proceeds to eating the cake slowly, while gazing at the view that was soon to change. In the far distance, hundreds of small firework-like lights ascend into the sky. He becomes troubled by them, for it was ruining his perfect view of the city. Suddenly frustrated, he put his cake back onto the desk and finally turned off the radio. he leaned onto the railing, looking up into the sky. As the lights slowly descended back onto earth he made his final stare into the sky and grinned saying...,".......I wish i had more time for that last sl..."
